More Celebrating the Coming of "Sunday"

Adding a handful of names into the cast of "First Sunday", Screen Gems has picked up Katt Williams, Tracy Morgan, Malinda Williams, Regina Hall, Chi McBride, and Loretta Devine to all join Ice Cube in the lineup, Variety has reported.

A joint production of Screen Gems and Cube's Cube Vision, the urban-themed comedy concerns two men who bungle an attempt to heist money from a church but later wind up taking hostage on its parishioners. Filming has just been commenced with first-time helmer David E. Talbert directing from his own script for an expected release on Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend next year.

Appears to be more inclined towards generating laughs rather than going for some thrilling actions onscreen for now, Ice Cube has signed on to topline an urban-themed comedy entitled "First Sunday", a joint production of his Cube Vision and Screen Gems.

A feature directorial debut of playwright David E. Talbert, the project finds Cube as one of two men who bungle an attempt to heist money from a church. Beyond their expectation, the pair winds up taking hostage on its parishioners to then be guided by those churchgoers to see error in their ways.

Don't know what to do on Sunday? It's okay, just go the theater and spend your time watching drama comedy "First Sunday," which David E. Talbert is about to write with Tim Story in hand to produce. The story is about two petty criminals who rob their local church. It sounds quite amusing right?!

So enjoy your day then.
