Uwe Boll to Travel "Far"
October 18, 2006 02:10:11Continuing his effort in making game-to-film adaptations, German director Uwe Boll is set to develop a new one entitled "Far Cry" based on Ubisoft's videogame of the same name.
Scheduled to start filming in May 2007, the project is expected to mirror the plot of the original version which concerns a man who sets out to escape his captors after being freed by an unseen stranger. Wayne Beach is re-writing the script originally penned by duo Michael Roesch and Peter Scheerer.
