Full Movie Winners List of 34th Annual Saturn Awards

On Tuesday, June 24, night, the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films celebrated the top works done in science fiction, fantasy, and horror in feature film by handing out statuettes for the 34th Saturn Awards at the Universal Hilton Hotel in Universal City. Coming out as the dominating champion was Walt Disney Pictures' musical film "Enchanted".

Though the movie that blends live-action, traditional animation and CGI technique was earlier outshone by "300" which earned ten Saturn nominations compared to its three gongs, the Kevin Lima-directed movie managed to nail all of its counts making it to be the movie which brought the most prizes home. On the special night, it was hailed to be the Best Fantasy Film and its leading actress Amy Adams as well as its composer Alan Menken were given each kudo for Best Actress and Best Music respectively.

The spell Walt Disney Pictures' "Enchanted" has cast apparently still works great as it continues to draw most of moviegoers' attention in its second spin on the domestic box office.

On the weekend running November 30-December 2, 2007, the princess flick gloriously remained at the top spot of the chart after scoring a hefty $16.4 million in ticket sales. Total gross it has garnered now is reported to be $70 million.

The PG-rated family comedy successfully drew an estimated $14.8 million from 3,632 locations, pulling in $8 million during its opening day and another $6.8 million on Thanksgiving day, celebrated Thursday, November 22, 2007. For people flocking around Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre, Saturday night (Nov. 17) probably was more like a moment where fantasy turned into reality as celebrated figures in entertainment industry mingled with fairy-tale characters to mark the world premiere of Walt Disney Pictures' "Enchanted."

Leading lady Amy Adams made her way to enchant public when she walked down the red carpet in a white J. Mendel gown to pose together with male lead Patrick Dempsey. Joined them were co-stars Timothy Spall, Rachel Covey, Idina Menzel, and Marlyn Sue Perry, among others.

Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon has inked a deal to star in the upcoming film "Enchanted." An animated adventure flick, the story of the film centers on a princess-in-waiting who is banished from a classical animation world by a vainglorious queen and dumped into a modern-day, live-action Manhattan.

Sarandon is tapped to play the role of Queen Narissa. Meanwhile, Amy Adams and James Marsden also are set to star in.
