Full Movie Winners List of 34th Annual Saturn Awards
June 25, 2008 11:06:09On Tuesday, June 24, night, the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films celebrated the top works done in science fiction, fantasy, and horror in feature film by handing out statuettes for the 34th Saturn Awards at the Universal Hilton Hotel in Universal City. Coming out as the dominating champion was Walt Disney Pictures' musical film "Enchanted".
Though the movie that blends live-action, traditional animation and CGI technique was earlier outshone by "300" which earned ten Saturn nominations compared to its three gongs, the Kevin Lima-directed movie managed to nail all of its counts making it to be the movie which brought the most prizes home. On the special night, it was hailed to be the Best Fantasy Film and its leading actress Amy Adams as well as its composer Alan Menken were given each kudo for Best Actress and Best Music respectively.

'Juno' and 'Superbad' Among 2008 MTV Movie Awards Nominees
May 07, 2008 09:05:22Continuing its annual celebration of honoring best films and Hollywood's talents, MTV is gearing up for 17th MTV Movie Awards by announcing the list of nominees up for the golden popcorn statuettes on Tuesday, May 6. Among those nominated for the special event, Judd Apatow's comedy "Superbad" and Jason Reitman's acclaimed dramedy "Juno" show off their dominations by collecting 5 and 4 nods respectively.
Though mostly the two movies garnered gongs in different categories, they would have to battle it up for the supreme prize, Best Movie award. In the particular category, they also will be facing stiff competitions from four other blockbuster nominees, "Transformers", "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End", "I Am Legend" and "National Treasure: Book of Secrets".
