Milla Jovovich's Casting Rumor in 'Clock Tower' Denied
October 16, 2008 04:10:39Contrary to previous report about her starring in "Clock Tower", Milla Jovovich may not come aboard the horror thriller project. Giving out the denial, ShockTillYouDrop announced that that reps from Jovovich's official site has clarified the actress is not going to make a starring appearance in the flick.
Earlier this week, Bloody-Disgusting has declared that Jovovich had signed on this video game adaptation. The site reported that the 32-year-old will star as Alyssa Barron. For the part, the "Ultraviolet" star will join other actors signed earlier, including Brittany Snow and Alyssa Jayne Hale.

The "Clock" Ticks in December
September 15, 2006 09:09:15Following the hiring of Chilean filmmaker Jorge Olguin, production is gearing up for Mayhem Project's "Clock Tower." Production Weekly has reported that principal photography on the project is set to start December this year with Todd Farmer, Jake Wade Wall, and David Coggeshall writing the screenplay.
Based on the popular Japanese videogame franchise of the same name, "Clock Tower" centers on a young girl named Alyssa Hamilton who finds that she possesses a secret power that can destroy evil forces threatening the world. Being so, she then must win over the Evil Servants which "thrive on the trapped life force of their murdered victim's souls" before the clock tower reaches midnight.

Horror Video Games Is the Next Big Screen Project
June 22, 2006 10:06:21Following several screenplays on Hollywood's production list, a horror movie under the Mayhem Project is onset to be listed between the striking drama genres. The movie is scheduled to begin production this fall, and will be entitled "Clock Tower".
The script writing will be handled by Jake Wade Wall, who previously wrote another thriller movie, "When a Stranger Calls". Meanwhile, Jorge Olguin bears the director in the credits. Olguin is said to have made a dazzling impression for Mayhem, when he proposed animated storyboards for the movie plan.
