Movie Story
For generations, the people of the City of Ember have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights. But Ember's once powerful generator is failing... and the great lamps that illuminate the city are starting to flicker. Now, two teenagers in a race against time, must search Ember for clues that will unlock the ancient mystery of the city's existence, and help the citizens escape before the lights go out forever.

posted by mgfhh on Oct 18, 2008I have to give this movie 5 stars. There were only two scenes where I though the camera was too close. The plot is beautiful and the acting is great too. It was fun. Without getting to see the whole planet get destroyed, we get it and how bad the destruction was.

i loved everything about the boobk because it is like suspence but in a book. also i could imagine everything in my mind.

posted by cool on Feb 08, 2009This was one of the best movies i have ever watched.I read the book,and then when i watched the movie it was like my imagination captured the whole movie instead of the cameras.It has alot of adventer and i hope you make the second book a movie too.
