Joel and Ethan Coen's drama comedy "" has led the North American box office's pack. Claiming the coveted #1 position, the Focus Features film helps to bring an end to the seven consecutive super-slow weekends following the superb opening of "" and marks a rebound from last week's worst weekend sales in five years.

With $19.1 million, the and -starrer flick has become the best movie debut ever for the filmmakers brothers. Their previous movies to open above the $10 million milestone are 2004's comedy starring , "Ladykillers" with $12.6 million opening and 2003's Clooney and -starrer "" with $12.5 million debut.

Appointed to be the movie to kick off the 65th Venice International Film Festival, "" brought a Hollywood highlight to the opening day of the special event by celebrating its world premiere. On Wednesday, August 27, evening, the dark comedy movie from Focus Features turned the festival's attention to the star-studded red carpet event held in the Sala Grande of the Palazzo del Cinema.

Among the film's celebrated cast ensemble making an appearance at the premiere were the four leading actors , , and . Dressed to impress with the two leading men wearing black tie tuxedos, they were joined by the geniuses behind the film, Joel and Ethan Coen. After giving fans the chance to meet clueless gym employee Chad and womanizer federal marshal Harry through character videos, Focus Features let out two other hilarious spots. The brand new videos for "" introduce two other characters, a disgraced CIA agent Osbourne Cox and a desperate-for-love gym employee Linda Litzke.

The first video to be posted below is entitled "Meet Osbourne". It highlights on the warning given to those who plan on messing with Osbourne stating, "Fired. Robbed. Blackmailed. Don't Play with Cox." The second character video "Meet Linda" describes Linda as a single and available woman who is looking for love in the wrong place.

In their effort to promote Coen brothers' latest drama comedy "", Focus Features released two brand new videos. Each video which format is a sort-of-mini-trailer focuses on clueless gym employee Chad and womanizer federal marshal Harry, two out of the five main characters in the movie.

When two gym employees, Linda Litzke and Chad Feldheimer, find a detailed memoir of an ousted CIA agent Ozzie Cox at the gym where they work, they come out with what they think to be the greatest idea ever, blackmailing Cox in exchange for the disc. Clueless and inexperienced, the two soon figure out that the task is not as simple as it seems, especially with Cox not acting like a victim. Their problem gets more complicated when Harry Pfarrer, the lover of Cox' soon-to-be ex-wife, is entangled in the blackmail scheme.

Another coveted film festival, the 65th Venice International Film Festival, is about to be held. Bearing that in mind, it is announced that the Coen brothers' latest dark comedy "" has been given the honor to open the fest on August 27 with two of its stars and are expected to make a red carpet appearance.

The drama comedy from Focus Features about two gym employees' attempt to blackmail a former CIA agent using his memoir is included in the 'Out of Competition' movie list which is the only American movie put into the category. It looks like Focus Features do not want to waste much time in promoting their latest drama comedy "". Hours after the international teaser trailer to Coen brothers' latest movie has been released, the studio have presented another sneak peek into the film through the outing of its teaser trailer.

Compared to the red band trailer and the international teaser, the new teaser can be considered to be the combination between the two. It gives background story to the tidbit like the red band trailer as well as short acknowledgment to each of the leading actors while depicting their characters like the international teaser. The video footage also shows several new footages that haven't been outed before.

After releasing "" red band trailer in late May, Focus Features follow it up with an international teaser trailer. Unlike the red band trailer, the new sneak peek into the newest Coen brothers' dramedy doesn't provide viewers with any background story to the film, but it surely displays much more funny stuffs to be expected from it.

Almost one minute shorter than the restricted trailer, the video footage displays fast cuts of the dark comedy movie exposing its five main characters in tickling situations. Opened up with as he is suggested to be doing some welding work, the compilation of clips quickly cuts off to the scene where Clooney rolls down on the floor to reach for a gun and shoots down a guy, the action that comes as a surprise to himself. Then, it moves on with footages of , , and . Many of the clips shown in the teaser have never seen before and it may force grins out from viewers.

In the wake of their multiple awards-winning drama thriller "", Joel and Ethan Coen are about to present moviegoers with their yet other promising feature film. Before their latest drama comedy movie "" hits the big screen though, they introduce it first by releasing a ludicrous restricted trailer online.

Timed at 2:10, the red band trailer pretty much gives out the plot line as well as the comedic situations the main characters faced. Opened with a shot of a gym, the video footage continues on with a clip showing the gym's employee Chad trying to convince Linda, his co-worker, that they can exploit their discovery, a disc containing CIA agent Osborne Cox's memoir. Inexperienced in blackmailing others but determined to do anything to gain some fortune from it, the two go on with their plan on selling the contents of the disc to the highest bidder and unknowingly put themselves in serious situations.

Apparently it does not take such a long time for to find himself working together again with the famed Coen brothers, Joel Coen and Ethan Coen. The Oscar-winning actor has agreed to take starring part in "" of which script is penned by the brothers, Production Weekly has learned.

Doing so, the project then marks the third time Clooney collaborates with the Coens after their previous works in "" and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?." What interesting here is that the Hollywood heartthrob has decided to take an antagonistic role as a hit man instead of a protagonist part as he did lately on his recent stints.
