'The Bucket List' Finished Atop Box Office
January 14, 2008 09:01:39"The Bucket List" kicked "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" out from the top spot on the Box Office weekend ended Sunday, January 13. Based on the preliminary estimates, the Warner Bros.' comedy drama film won the three-days weekend North American Box Office in its first weekend in wide release grossing an incredible $19.4 million.
According to Box Office Mojo, the film, in which Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman play two terminally ill men living their last days to the fullest, has earned $6.4 million on Friday, January 11, only. Earlier, the distribution executive of Warners, Dan Fellman, had credited the two Academy Award-winners for the bringing life to the picture stating, "Everyone wanted to see these two actors together in one movie. It's well-positioned heading into the holiday weekend and will start to play a little younger as it goes."

Warner Bros. Fills Up "The Bucket List"
September 09, 2006 09:09:42Making great move in taking its next project, Warner Bros. is set to finance and distribute Rob Reiner's new big screen project of "The Bucket List", Variety has reported.
Following this, the company has also reached deals with Reiner and the film's two leading actors, Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, to start production by late October with Justin Zackham penning the script. In the meantime, Zackham will also become the flick's executive producer alongside Traviz Knox while Reiner, Craig Zadan, Neil Meron, Alan Greisman are seating as producers.

June 30, 2006 08:06:55It's such a rare treat indeed to see two prominent character actors sharing a screen together and that's what Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman are about to present to the moviegoers for sure through "The Bucket List."
"The Bucket List" will put its center around the two terminally ill men who develop a wish list they try to fulfill after running away from their treatment in a cancer ward. Heading off together on a road trip, they thus set to follow what they have written on the list which includes hilarious things like racing cars, eating giant plates of caviar and slinging poker chips in Monte Carlo.

My husband and I just saw this movie and let left the theater with teary eyes! We watch quite a few movies and this was definatley one of the top ones that so many people in the audience laughed so many times! It was funny and sensitive and I thought it was great how these 2 men helped each other through such a difficult time and became such good friends. I would definatley reccommend this movie!!

I thought this movie was great! Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson are wonderfull actors and together they really demonstrate how important is is to live life to the fullest and just how special family and friends are to have, especially in times of despair. This humorous outlook on how two men share their last days with leave you feeling glad that you chose to watch this movie. Enjoy!
