Story
"Breathless" is a thriller with plenty of dark comedic twists and turns. Set in a trailer in Texas it follows Lorna (Gershon) a strong-willed Texan woman who's had enough of the criminal acts and cheating ways of her husband Dale (hilariously played by Kilmer). When Lorna suspects Dale of holding up the local bank she enlists the help of her old chain-smoking friend Tiny (Giddish) to hatch a plan. The girls brainstorm about what to do with the hapless Dale and with Tennessee whiskey on board matters take an unexpected turn. When Sheriff Cooley (Liotta) shows up at their doorstep to investigate the bank robbery, the story enters it's unexpected climax. With an outstanding script (co-written by Jesse Baget and Stefania Moscato) , an experienced cast and with Jesse's subtle direction Breathless will keep you entertained right up to the end.
