Weekend U.S Box Office of February 16-18, 2007
February 19, 2007 11:02:06The hot flame of "Ghost Rider" has blazed brightly to burn all blocking its way on the box office. Soaring high in its debut, the superhero flick triumphantly claims the No.1 spot on the chart, drawing in a fantastic amount of $45.3 million, way far above the $22.5 million its fellow newcomer "Bridge to Terabithia" has collected during weekend ended February 18, 2007.
Though severely beaten, the Disney production, however, proves to strike harder than last-week's top film "Norbit" as the larger-than-life comedy only manages to put another $16.7 million into its pocket to seat on the third place in its second round in the competition.

Weekend U.S Box Office of February 2-4, 2007
February 05, 2007 10:02:41The Asian star is displaying its bright light in North America as Hong Kong filmmakers Danny and Oxide Pang score great success on the box office with their latest work "The Messenger." Revolving around a city family that moves into a seemingly serene sunflower farm in North Dakota, the horror flick has gloriously dominated movie ticket sales at $14.7 million to top the chart for Super Bowl weekend ended February 4, 2007.
The latest in a string of horror hits from Sony, "Messengers" marks the studio's seventh straight year of reigning the box office on Super Bowl weekend, becoming the second No. 1 debut so far this year for the company after urban dance drama "Stomp the Yard" that falls to the sixth spot this time for only taking up a fair amount of $4.05 million.
