August Rush New York Premiere Enlightened by Cast

Eagerly gathered up once again, key cast members of Kirsten Sheridan's "August Rush" merrily celebrated together the New York City premiere for the drama yesterday, November 11, 2007 at the city's Ziegfeld Theater.

Leading lady Keri Russell looked fresh yet elegant in classic black dress while her co-star Jonathan Rhys-Meyers showed off his newly shorn look as he casually walked down the red carpet alongside longtime girlfriend Reena Hammer. Other cast members spotted to also attend the screening were Robin Williams and child actor Freddie Highmore who portrays the title character.

President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures announced Tuesday Feb 28th, 2006 confirming that "August Rush" has started its production in New York. Working behind the scene is Richard Barton Lewis who is producing and Kirsten Sheridan who is directing.

Meanwhile, actors already on board to star in are Freddie Highmore, Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Terrence Howard, and Academy Award winner Robin Williams.

Actress Keri Russell reportedly has signed on to star alongside Jonathan Rhys Meyers in "August Rush." A drama movie, the Warner Bros. project is about to be directed by the Oscar-nominated Kristen Sheridan.

The story of "August Rush" centers on August Rush, a young musical prodigy performing on the streets of New York who uses his talent to seek his parents, from whom he was separated after he was born.

It was an amazing and up lifting movie!!! It renews ones hope and faith in life and it makes you see how not to give up and to keep believing. I've always heard music in everything around me and within me but the most wonderful music I hear is in the sound of people's heart beats and in their smiles. Freddie and the rest of the cast were OUTSTANDING and I will watch this movie and listen to the CD over and over!!!! To everyone involved, THANK YOU!!!!

August Rush is an excellent romantic movie!!!I can't describe it with simple words!When I watched it for the first time I understood how wonderfull feeling is LOVE and you mustn't give up so easy!The movie's music was amazing!bravo!

a brilliant film!! totally amazing and true music is all around us!! there should have been more at the end though but the cast was awesome especially freddie! i could watch this film over and over again truely loved it!

THIS MOVIE MOVED ME TO THE POINT WHERE EVER IF IM JUST THINKING ABOUT I CRY. IVE ALWAYS HAD A CONNECTION WITH MUSIC AND THIS MOVIE JUST TOUCHED ME SO MUCH. THE MUSIC WAS AUTHENTIC AND JUST RAPPED ITSELF AROUND THE WHOLE ENTIRE MOVIE. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A LONGER ENDING JUST TO SEE WHAT COULD HAVE TRANSPIRED BETWEEN AUGUST AND HIS PARENTS JUST TO SEE HOW WELL THEY CONNECTED.
