this is such an awesome book. i havent read the magician, but if they trash the alchyemist's movie, im gonna cry. the book is so dynamic, emotional, it really captures the reader until the very end. Ive read this book millions of times and i cant wait until the library opens up so i can get my hands on the magician

I kind of hope they wait on the movies until more books are done. Harry Potter is ruined because they have waited so long to produce each movie. I also would like it if they filmed them like LOTR. All in a row and filmed before the first is released. That way the characters don't age in real life (they are only 15 in book). That or it will be animated.

All the books are the best, Nicholas Flamel is the best of the Alchemyst. He is the coolest of all and most original.

Seriously, must everything be compared to Harry Potter? Harry Potter is a huge success and deserves it. JKR did a fantastic job on the books and the movies are great too. I think that Michael Scott's series could be just as successful as HP has been. The Alchemyst was a great book, and The Magician was even better! I really hope they do get this one done! I think it'll be an amazing movie!

I've read The Alchemyst & The Magician, and they were both AWESOME! I'm 2/3 finished with The Soceress(AWESOME too), I've read 53/70 chapters. I'm planning on mailing Michael Scott somehow, I'd love to contact him. Can't wait to see the movie!

Nothing will ever compare to Harry Potter. They are the best movie series, a true classic. Nothing beats classics.

They'll probably alter the ending so in case it doesn't make enough money, they won't make a second movie. It will be awesome though, I love ALL the books.

very good! It was mysterious, and suspensful! And the worst part is that I had to pee so I had to make sure I didn't pee my pants! lolz...anyway the ending had a FULL ON EXCORCIST TWIST! The ending shocked me, but I sort of thought of something else when the doctor guy talked to the mother in the hospitol (not gonna give spoilers!) VERY GOOD!
