L.A. Premiere of Kristen Stewart-Starrer 'Adventureland'

A couple of weeks away from its theatrical release in April, "Adventureland" has rolled down red carpet for a Los Angeles premiere. For the special event, Miramax Films have picked up Mann Chinese 6 Theater in Hollywood, California as the place to screen the comedy film on Monday, March 16, evening.

While Jesse Eisenberg, the star of "Adventureland", was not seen at the red carpet, his co-stars Kristen Stewart and Ryan Reynolds were present at the premiere. In addition to Stewart and Reynolds, other cast members attending included Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, Matt Bush, Martin Starr and Dan Bittner. Director Greg Mottola was also spotted joining the celebration.

Miramax Films have debuted the new red-band trailer for "Adventureland" via IGN. Providing another sneak peek at the comedy movie, the less-than-two-minute video footage presents the naughty parts of the film, from some profane words to be heard to the rather raunchy scenes to be viewed.

Opening this red band trailer is an explanation that what the viewers about to see is the red band trailer for the movie with definition of what red band means. While the explanatory words in it claim that the movie won't contain any profanity or sex and show no drinking or drug use, the footage displays the exact opposite.

Brand New Clip From Greg Mottola's Comedy 'Adventureland'

MySpace's Trailer Park has exclusively premiered a brand new clip of "Adventureland". Less than a minute long, the clip lets out the scene where Lisa P played by Margarita Levieva is coming back to the amusement park. Unaware of who Lisa P is, Jesse Eisenberg's James Brennan asks Martin Starr's Joel who shows him Lisa P and explains of her perfect form.

Following the story of James Brennan while working at a local amusement park, "Adventureland" is set in the summer of 1987. Recently graduated from college and expecting to embark on his dream tour to Europe, Brennan learns a hard truth when his parents reveal that they cannot pay for the trip. When he lands a job at local amusement park, he thinks that the period will be his worst summer ever. But, it turns into quite an adventure as he discovers love in the most unlikely place with his co-worker.

"Adventureland", the new comedy movie from "Superbad" director Greg Mottola, has just got its first trailer. Exclusively premiered at MySpace with an introduction from the director himself, the trailer lets out an exciting look into what James Brennan has to undergo after he is hired at a local amusement park, which includes dealing with a kid puking at his stall and finding love with his co-worker.

Apart from giving out the interesting occurrences revolving around Brennan, the two minute promotional video also chronicles the moments leading to him landing the job. Additionally, it lets out glimpses of the performance by "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart as Brennan's love interest, Em, and "Definitely, Maybe" leading man, Ryan Reynolds, as Connell.

The next talents picked for the project after Jesse Eisenberg, Ryan Reynolds and Kristen Stewart have both landed starring slots in "Adventureland", the next directorial effort from "Superbad" helmer Greg Mottola.

Also written by Mottola, the coming-of-age comedy is set in year 1987 and centers on an uptight recent college graduate (Eisenberg) who is forced to take a degrading minimum-wage job at the local amusement park. Reynolds is learned to play an aspiring rock star and the icon of cool to all the kids working at the park while Stewart will become the romantic lead, a tomboy who also works at the park.

Hot off the huge commercial success of "Superbad", seems director Greg Mottola only takes a really short time to secure his next directorial stint after the comedy hit.

Variety has reported that the 43-year-old filmmaker has already secured deals to helm a new big screen feature titled "Adventureland" that Miramax Films is developing for Sidney Kimmel to produce.

While very slow, this movie was intriguing and... nice. While Stewart's choppy, fidgety, always-the-same acting makes me want to stab myself, Eisenberg really pulls through with a charming and stellar performance.

Did anyone else notice the bad editing? There were multiple shots in which the microphone and sound equipment is visible at the top of the screen.

Lou Reed. I'm 39 and he's even a little before my time so It's funny but I didn't think about the fact that you younguns wouldn't know who the heck they were talking about. This movie was good, I really like Kristen, she is fast becoming one of my favorite actresses.
