Exclusive Interview: Charice on New Album and Justin Timberlake

Having the first international studio album in the works, YouTube singing sensation Charice exclusively shares to AceShowbiz that she eyes to drop the record this fall. Furthermore, the young singer who has shared stage with big singers such as Celine Dion reveals her desire to make a collaboration with Justin Timberlake.

Charice also opens up about her plan to hit the road with her mentor David Foster either in October or November. While waiting her album to arrive in stores, fans can visit Amazon to purchase her new single "Note to God" which is listed among chart-toppers like Black Eyed Peas and Lady GaGa in "NOW That's What I Call Music 31".

ASB: When did you start singing?

Charice: I started singing when I was 4 years old, but I'm sure I was singing in the womb.

ASB: What does a family mean to you and how they make contribution to your singing career?

Charice: My mom and brother are the rocks in my life. My mom especially - she is the reason I'm singing and the reason I love what I do. My brother is still in school but I see him a lot and he sometimes travels with me when he's not in school. I am with my mom all the time which I love.

ASB: Your amazing talent was first noticed through a YouTube video. Who had the idea of uploading it on the web?

Charice: A cool guy and very close friend in the Philippines call Dave (we call him falsevoice). I owe a lot to him for sure!!!

ASB: Reaching fame on such a young age, you are often considered as a role model for your peers. Is there pressure for holding such title?

Charice: A little but something I'm happy to do! I hope my peers so how you can make your dreams come true by believing in yourself and never giving up.

ASB: How did you meet David Foster and end up working with him and Warner Bros. for your new album?

Charice: David Foster is my mentor and I am so honored to be working with him - he's the best in the world. He noticed me on YouTube and sent it to Oprah. David is with Warner Brothers which is why I am there.

ASB: Many of your fans are curious about the record, what is the title? And when will it arrive in stores?

Charice: No title yet! It will be out this fall I hope. We're still in the studio.

ASB: Talking about your debut single "Note to God", what does it deal with?

Charice: It's simply about a note to God.

ASB: When will you come by U.S. for a tour to promote the album?

Charice: I will be touring this us this October/November with David Foster and friends. I'm very excited!

ASB: You have shared stage with big singers such as Celine Dion and and Michael Buble. Is there any singer you haven't met and wish to make a duet with?

Charice: Celine was my biggest dream but now I want to sing and dance with Justin Timberlake.

ASB: Do you spare an interest to be a teen movie star who also sings like Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato?

Charice: Of course! I shot a scene in 'Alvin and the Chipmunks' which was so much fun. I love to act!

ASB: Beside singing, what else do you fancy doing?

Charice: Dancing - I love to dance and I want this to be part of my performance life.

ASB: How do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years from now as a singer?

Charice: To just continue to love to sing - that's what I care about the most.
