Some folks will nitpick anything. Silent Hill being no exception, but I found it refreshing and Spooky as Hell! The music really set the scenes, the actors portrayed their fear of this strange and macbre town extremely well. Too me this was one movie worth seeing, especially if watched alone and in a pitch black room, it's the only true way to get the real feel of this movie. Now I've never played the game as yet, but after seeing the movie, you can bet I'm going to have t get it and try it out for sure. This movie was great in the fact it left the viewer to use their own imagination against the "what if" or "could this really happen" in real life. If anyone has ever seen any photo's of babies born to mothers on hard core drugs or other happenstance photo's of true freaks of nature, wether human or animal, then Silent Hill is not far off the mark from reality, which if thought about, is really downright scary. A great film, a great cast and a wonderfully scary musical score! Definitely worth a 5 STAR+ rating in my opinion.

Movie 5 stars+, but what I am disappointed in is the fact that their is no soundtrack of the movie available. I would love to have the soundtrack to this movie and my question to any of the Hollywood folk that score these type of movies is: "Why do you not release Movie Soundtracks to many of the horror movies made?" There are many of us out here that would love to own soundtracks to certain movies, yet, none ever seem to get released. Why is this? Can anyone answer that question? Other than this one minor (major for me though as I am a collector of horror film music) thing, I loved the movie, per my other review left at this site earlier. I want the soundtrack to Silent Hill "the movie"!
