Blue Carpet Treatment for 'Monsters vs. Aliens' L.A. Premiere
March 23, 2009 10:03:04Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California has become the host of "Monsters vs. Aliens" Los Angeles premiere on Sunday morning, March 22. Celebrating the special screening event, DreamWorks Animation greeted the celebrities with a unique blue carpet and a man-high statue of B.O.B., one of the monsters in the movie.
Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Kiefer Sutherland, Rainn Wilson, Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler were among the film's voice talents attending the premiere. Joining them on the blue carpet were producer Lisa Stewart and directors, Rob Letterman and Conrad Vernon.
Will Ferrell Joined by Co-Stars in Funny or Die Tour for 'Semi-Pro'
February 18, 2008 04:02:12"Arrested Development" actor Will Arnett and the co-star of Javier Bardem in "No Country for Old Men" Woody Harrelson have been signed to join Will Ferrell in the sold-out campus tour "Will Ferrell's Funny or Die Comedy Tour" promoting the upcoming sport comedy movie "Semi-Pro".
According to Hollywood Reporter, the two actors will be joining the film's star and comics Zach Galifianakis, Demetri Martin and Nick Swardson for the rest of the eight-venues tour. They will start performing as the tour resumes on February 22 at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill after a short break.

With eight big screen projects in his list, Will Arnett should be incredibly busy for years ahead, but looks like the hectic schedule does not really discourage him to add a new one into the lineup.
According to an exclusive report from Cinematical.com, the Toronto native is currently involved in talks to become the leading actor in rom-com flick "Matchbreaker", which 20th Century Fox has been developing since its acquisition of a spec script by Adam Sztykiel.

The little town of Who-ville sure gets merrier by now with the arrival of nine talents namely Isla Fisher, Jaime Pressly, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, Dan Fogler, Carol Burnett, Amy Poehler, Dane Cook, and Jonah Hill.
Yes, all the names have joyously been included in the voice cast of 20th Century Fox Animation's CG toon "Horton Hears a Who", produced by "Ice Age" makers Blue Sky Studios, joining the likes of Jim Carrey and Steve Carell, who are set to voice the titular character and the Mayor of Who-ville, respectively.
Will Arnett Challenge the "Space Invader"

There's more to come from Will Arnett for the years ahead for sure. Variety has learned that the funnyman has been plotted to topline a comedic feature titled "Space Invader" of which script has successfully been purchased by Fox Atomic.
No details yet on the film's plot except that it will focus on a love triangle, but it is confirmed that Robbie Brenner and John Davis are both set to executive produce. Meanwhile, seating as producers are Principato Young Entertainment's Peter Principato and Paul Young plus Arnett, who also helped developing the script written by duo Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger.

Finding himself team up again with Will Ferrell after their onscreen collaboration in "Blades of Glory", Will Arnett has given his agreement to take part in sports comedy "Semi-Pro", a New Line Cinema production telling about the waning days of the American Basketball Association.
Also joining Woody Harrelson and Andre Benjamin of Outkast in the cast lineup, Arnett will portray Lou Redwood, the team announcer for Flint Michigan Tropics which is owned by Ferrell's character, Jackie Moon, who also serves as the team's coach and player.
