September 21, 2009 11:09:20The ceremony of 61st Primetime Emmy Awards has just ended but some notable moments from the live event were captured. Neil Patrick Harris opening number and a dance sequence by several dancers from shows such as "Dancing with the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance" were among the highlighted moments apart from the winners revelation.
Harris, wearing white Tuxedo, worked the stage with a Broadway number of "Put Down That Remote". His performance included a shout out to Tina Fey who won as the impersonation of Sarah Palin, Tony Shalhoub whose name rhymes with tuba, and Shirley MacLaine as well as Drew Barrymore who "everyday look luscious and cool".

Numbers of Hollywood famous figures celebrated the 58th annual Primetime Emmy Awards held Sunday August 27th. Among the many attendances, there were some lucky winners.
Here the partial list of the winners presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences: Megan Mullally won Supporting Actress, Comedy Series for "Will & Grace," Tony Shalhoub nabbed the Actor, Comedy Series category for "Monk," Andre Braugher chosen as Actor, Miniseries or Movie for "Thief," and Alan Alda who brought home the Supporting Actor, Drama Series award for NBC's "The West Wing".
The 58th Annual Emmy Awards Nominees Unveiled
July 07, 2006 03:07:26As the celebration of this year's Emmy Awards draws near, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has officially announced on Thursday, July 6 the nominees for the prime time entertainment. Choosing those for the Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series category, the organization has picked up names like Steve Carell, Tony Shalhoub, and Charlie Sheen in the list besides placing Kiefer Sutherland, Peter Krause, also Denis Leary together to compete for the title of Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series.
In the female's side, Stockard Channing, Debra Messing, and Lisa Kudrow will be up for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series category while Allison Janney, Kyra Sedgwick, plus Geena Davis have been lined up for that in drama series. As for another in miniseries/ TV-movie category, there has popped up notable names of Gillian Anderson, Kathy Bates, Judy Davis, Helen Mirren, and Annette Bening altogether.
Stars Set for Van Gogh Remakes
December 20, 2005 01:12:45The likes of Sienna Miller, Steve Buscemi, Tony Shalhoub and Patricia Clarkson are all teaming up to star in the U.S. remakes of two films by slain Dutch director Theo van Gogh. Their publicist confirmed this on Thursday Dec 15.
Shalhoub and Clarkson, the two are set to star in the US reworking of Van Gogh's 1996 film "Blind Date." In the film which Stanley Tucci going to produce, the twosome will portray a married couple who very tragically lost their child in a car accident. Since the child's death they've been unable to spend time together, and they can't not be together, so they sort of meet on blind dates and role-play as strangers.
Tony Shalhoub & Patricia Clarkson Go on Blind Date
