"Cryin' for Me" is taken from Keith's latest studio installment "American Ride". The country music crooner planned to perform the song at Tisdale's funeral, but delivered Willie Nelson's "Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground" instead because he was too emotional to sing the tribute track.

In the Michael Salamon-directed video, Keith takes aim at YouTube-watching phenomenon, immigration, Wall Street, beauty queens, plastic surgery, high gas price and even terrorist. "I'm a 'right-wrong guy' not a 'right-left guy' and this video shows that," Keith commented on the concept of the video. "We took our shots at everyone."
2009 CMT Awards Nominees Revealed, Sugarland Grab the Most Nods

Sugarland were listed among the contenders of Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year, CMT Performance of the Year and Duo Video of the Year. In the latest category, they received two nods for "All I Want to Do" and "Already Gone" music videos, facing off other videos from Brooks & Dunn for single "Put a Girl in It" and from Montgomery Gentry for track "Roll With Me".
Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and More Billed to Sing at 2009 CMT Awards

2009 CMT Music Awards is going to take place at Nashville's Sommet Center on June 17 with tickets for the event set to go on sale on May 2. Short list of its nominees, consisting of four names each, from all categories except Video of the Year will be announced on May 19.

Announced by Julianne Hough, Kellie Pickler, LeAnn Rimes and Jessica Simpson, it was revealed that Brad Paisley and Heidi Newfield both led the pack with six and four counts respectively.

According to the publication, the singer is raking in an estimated $48 million over the last year, thanks to his major endorsement deal with Ford trucks, involvement in his I Love This Bar & Grill chain of restaurants, and ownership of his record label, Show Dog Nashville.
Country trio Rascal Flatts comes in second on the list, with $40 million in earnings. The music group's inclusion in the list is because of their Top 10 2007 tour that proved to help them earning such amount of earnings.

Ten years not releasing any Christmas album apparently has left Toby Keith restless. The project only get its way this year after the completion of his June 12 released album "Big Dog Daddy".
"I've been meaning to do another (Christmas album) for 10 years," Keith revealed. "I'm not an extremely religious guy, but I am a Christian, and I do know what the meaning of Christmas is. It's time for me to do one." The project is already underway and will be released in the fourth quarter this year via his label Show Dog Nashville.

Having their album "Me and My Gang" sold nearly 345,000 copies in the week ended April 16, country trio Rascal Flatts hold strong their No. 1 position on the Billboard 200, to be on top of the pop album chart for a second week Wednesday April 19th, 2006. After such tough challenge, Keith Urban's "White Trash With Money" finally only secures the 2nd place on the chart with about 330,000 units.
At No. 3 is "Now That's What I Call Music! 21" by various artists which is sold 293,000 copies, followed by the "High School Musical" soundtrack which holds at No. 4 for a second week with 256,000. It's about white trash and money. That's the upcoming album Toby Keith will release on April 11 this year deals with. Titled "White Trash With Money," the album which was co-produced by Lari White, is Keith's first album for his own Show Dog Nashville imprint.
The first single from the set, "Get Drunk and Be Somebody" is No. 8 this week on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. For the album, Keith also involves Argentine string arranger George DelBarrio whose work can be heard on the planned second single, "A Little Too Late," and two other songs.

"Angel From Montgomery" tells the story of Angela Dalton, a Miami newscaster who brings her rebel teenage daughter Dixie home to rural Montgomery, Tennessee after a military training accident tragically takes the lives of several town resides, including Angela's younger brothers. "Angel From Montgomery" centers on Preston's role, a TV anchor who returns home to Montgomery, Tennessee after her brother's death and rekindles a relationship with Keith's character. The film is slated to hit theaters sometime next year. Meanwhile, it is reported that Keith will be inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame on Thursday, October 27. Keith starts Show Dog with former DreamWorks Nashville record executive Scott Borchetta, who also will operate his own label, Big Machine Records. Show Dog will later on record and distribute Keith's future work and the singer is optimistic other artists will want to join his label after their contracts with others are up.
