August 13, 2008 01:08:23Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia have recently finished their work on a new music video. The video is to support their collaboration with rapper Akon and Jim Jones in single "That's Right", taken from their latest album 'Last 2 Walk".
The video is shot inside a building in which the group are rapping verses from the single. The video is mostly displayed in a kind of old scene with mostly black and white color for its background.

July 10, 2008 03:07:21A second version of Three 6 Mafia's music video for their single "Lolli Lolli(Pop That Body)" has just premiered on July 9 via BET. Unlike the first clip, that was directed by Dale "Rage" Resteghini, the new version was being helmed by Commissioner Gordon and Jonas Morals.
Not only having different director, the concept of the second version clip is also very far from the original one. If the first video features lots of female models accompanying Three 6, the second sees the rap group being the judge of a break dance contest.

This time it's not about a new song but it was the video of their cameo appearance on the tapping of CBS's television series "Numb3rs" which will be aired on May 9.
Not just appearing as a guest star, on the episode that will revolve around the murder of a rapper, the rap group are also performing on the episode. It can be seen from the footage below that was leaked on the net.

The new video was launched to public on May 3 and on the video the group were seen dancing with lots of sexy female backup dancers. It was directed by Dale "Rage" Resteghini.
For the single the group also collaborate with other musicians, such as Project Pat, Young Dro and Superpower. The song itself will be included on the Three 6's upcoming album "Last 2 Walk", which will be released on June 24.

April 15, 2008 11:04:42Three 6 Mafia have released a new video for the first single off their upcoming album "Last 2 Walk". The rap group who is now down to only two members Juicy J and DJ Paul, have premiered the video of "I'd Rather" that features UNK.
"Last 2 Walk" is their frequently-delayed ninth studio album which original schedule this year is in April. They have now set a new date which is June 24, via Hypnotize Minds/Columbia Records. With the new date, the set will have to face competitions from G-Unit's "Lock and Load", The Game's "L.A.X." and Nelly's "Brass Knuckles".
Three 6 Mafia's Ninth Album to Finally Hit the Stores
February 20, 2008 03:02:54After shelved for sometime, Three 6 Mafia's "Last 2 Walk" will finally see the day light on June 24 via Columbia Records. The album was supposed to hit the stores in December last year but has frequently been pushed back.
The Grammy award-winning rap group have not confirmed a final track list but a song titled "I'd Rather" has been leaked on-line. The song that features DJ Unk is one of the tracks that will join the first single "Doe Boy Fresh" in the album.

Two tentative dates after, Three 6 Mafia now sets the date of "Last 2 Walk" for July 3. The release date has to be pushed back so that it will receive a better coordination since the group is currently weighing on their new MTV reality show "Adventures in Hollyhood".
"Last 2 Walk" which will be distributed by Columbia Records is the group's eight studio album. It was initially scheduled for April and May 22 but continuously delayed despite the release of first single "Doe Boy Fresh" that has been on iTunes since January 2 and has fallen off the Billboard chart.

Having their reality series, "Adventures In HollyHood," premiered on MTV Thursday night April 5th, Three 6 Mafia in the meantime also is making their rounds and their latest stop is at PlayBoy.com.
The Academy Award-winning rap group hit Playboy's Santa Monica studio recently, getting behind the cameras for an after-hours photo session as celebrity guest photographers. Group members, DJ Paul and Juicy J, get behind the camera with the model, Playboy cyber girl Jennifer Korbin.

Three 6 Mafia with its steady increase of album sales is on again to score another winning piece. "Last 2 Walk" is going to be the group's newest album due to hit the stores on May 22.

After winning Oscars earlier this year, it's now time for Three 6 Mafia to have such an exciting "Adventures in Hollywood."
It was reported Wednesday Sept 20th by MTV that the rap group will star in a new reality comedy series called "Adventures in Hollywood". The series reportedly will follow the group's main members, Juicy J and DJ Paul, and their entourage as they make their way from Memphis to Los Angeles.

"We ran into her at a William Morris Agency party and she said she liked our song `Stay Fly' and asked could we work with her," said Jordan "Juicy J" Houston, a member of the Oscar winning rappers.

Oscar winning rappers Three 6 Mafia is facing lawsuit filed by a fan who was injured at one of their concerts. Ramone Williams, who was 19 at the time, claims in his lawsuit that he was beaten as the rap group sang "Let's Start a Riot" at an Aug. 26, 2003, concert at a now-defunct Pittsburgh nightclub.
Further Williams alleged that before the song was over, he was thrown to the floor, hit with a chair, stomped on and kicked in the face, all of which leaving him with a fractured jaw. Based on those facts, he is suing Three 6 Mafia's individual members, Jordan Houston, Paul Beauregard, and Cedric Coleman, the group as a whole and the concert venue.

Three 6 Mafia, the Memphis rappers, also was an Oscar winner. The trio, Jordan Houston, Cedric Coleman and Paul Beauregard, was among the many Oscar recipients at the 78th annual Academy Awards held March 5th, 2006 in Los Angeles.
The threesome brought home Oscar for Best Original Song for "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp," performed by actor Terrence Howard in the hip-hop film "Hustle & Flow". Handed the award to them was Queen Latifah. Aside, Three 6 Mafia also made history as the first rap group to perform at the event.

The singer's sophomore effort titled "All Jacked Up" successfully debuts at the top of the Billboard 200 and Billboard Top Country Albums charts this week after moving 264,000 units in its first week of release. Sheryl Crow's "Wildflower" secures the 2nd rank with 140,000 copies.
Comes after Crow at No. 3 is Three Six Mafia's "Most Known Unknown," which sold 115,000 copies in its first week of release. The band followed by Toni Braxton at No. 4 with "Libra" which moved 114,000 units in its debut week. Rounding out the top five is Kanye West's "Late Registration," which drops from No. 3 to No. 5. Debuts at No. 6 is Lil' Kim, whose "Naked Truth" sold 109,000 units in its first week on the charts.
