Adrienne Bailon Confirms The Cheetah Girls Break-Up Rumor
January 28, 2009 11:01:22Almost two months after rumor swirling in the media claims The Cheetah Girls will be splitting after completing their tour, Adrienne Bailon, one of the band's members, comes out with a statement confirming the issue is true. Speaking to Just Jared Jr., the singer says, "I think that the brand has now come to an end."
"But like everything - High School Musical will no longer be. Same thing. We had a great run," Adrienne shares further. "But I think Disney - it was a platform for us to continue the dreams and they want to spread the same Cheetah Girl message to carry with us, which is Girl empowerment. Every project that the three of us do will always incorporate that."
The Cheetah Girls Hint on Future Break Up
November 26, 2008 11:11:15Rumor has it, The Cheetah Girls may split. Noting that "The Cheetah Girls: One World" tour will be the band's last show, Kiely Williams, one of the Cheetah Girls' members, told In Touch Weekly as quoted by 4tnz!, "We always knew that this tour would probably be our last."
Furthermore, Kiely revealed that the break-up decision is resulted from the negative publications surrounding them in the media lately. "We were excited about going out on a high note, it's sad that this negative attention [Adrienne Bailon's nude photos] put a damper on that," she said.

"The girls were scheduled to be in the parade and perform, but after Adrienne's recent photo incident, organisers didn't think it would be appropriate to have her at a family-oriented event," a source told Perez Hilton.

Adrienne "is mulling" a deal with Playboy to do "stylish photos with full nudity in a sufficient quantity and quality," New York Post reports. Greater than that, the newspaper even claims to have obtained a copy of the contract that the men's magazine already sent to the 25-year-old beauty. The contract reportedly also reminds her that during a promotional tour, she's limited to $100 a day for room service and phone charges.

Setting the record straight on the circulating nude pics of Adrienne, her spokesman Jonathan Jaxson has issued a statement, explaining, "The photos that have surfaced of Adrienne Bailon were stolen from her laptop over a week ago at an airport in NY and sent to several media outlets." Jonathan reveals further, "These photos were taken in private. Adrienne will be pursuing legal action against the person or person's sending these private photos out."
The Cheetah Girls Sets 'Fuego' in New Single

As reported here last month, The Cheetah Girls is pulling 'Fuego' as their second single from 'TCG'. The girls have stated previously on their MySpace that this is one of their favorite tracks in the debut album.
'Fuego', which means Fire in English, samples on Lionel Ritchie's 'All Night Long' and is produced by the renowned Jonathan "JR" Rotem. It is an upbeat, party anthem that member Adrienne Bailon explained, "I love the message about setting a party on fire and having a good time, because that's what The Cheetah Girls are all about."
The Cheetah Girls' Sabrina Posing for 'Dancing'

As previously reported, The Cheetah Girls' Sabrina Bryan has joined the cast of U.S. TV series Dancing with the Stars. She will be partnered with Mark Ballas Jr. who is also new to the show.
The fifth season of the dancing competition will begin September 24th and 25th on ABC. The challenge in the first week is designed to be Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Mambo.

Off playing their characters in the TV series, The Cheetah Girls are gearing the work of their debut album 'TCG'. The CD will soon release the first single 'So Bring It On' that was already premiered on Radio Disney on August 25.
Next, it was reported that the girls will pull 'Fuego' as the second single and make its music video. The upbeat song samples on Lionel Richie's 'All Night Long'.
