Ted Nugent Speaks at the NRA's Annual Convention
April 18, 2005 10:04:30Rocker Ted Nugent attended the National Rifle Association (NRA)'s annual convention Saturday April 16, 2005, urged its members to be "hardcore, radical extremists demanding the right to self defense." Further Nugent said that each NRA member should try to enroll 10 new members over the next year and associate only with other members. Sang and played a guitar painted with red and white stripes for the crowd at Houston's downtown convention center, the star told gun owners to never give up their right to bear arms and should use their guns to protect themselves if needed.
Nugent's Lawsuit Goes on Trial
January 27, 2005 09:01:33Tuesday, January 25, 2005, Muskegon County Circuit judge, Timothy G. Hicks, decided to reject Muskegon Summer Celebration lawyer to toss out rest of Nugent lawsuit for the festival and official for canceling one of his concerts which had been scheduled for June 30, 2003.
The summer festival argued on Nugent lawsuit saying that both had no contract to be signed at the time the concert was canceled, which according to the festival site, was caused by the controversy arose over news reports about racial remarks Newman made in a Denver radio interview on May 5, 2003.
