Snippet of The Queen Project's Debut Single
September 29, 2009 04:09:08Newly formed, female R&B group The Queen Project are prepping to release their debut single sometime soon. Titled "Queen", the song has got a preview and will serve as the first single from their upcoming studio album.
Beside giving away a clip of their new song, this group also sat down for an interview at the Hollywood studios of Grammy Award winner Warren Campbell. Among other things that they talked about were how they banded together and what to expect from their upcoming studio project.
Tamia Forms Female Group With Deborah Cox and Kelly Price
September 18, 2009 03:09:36It is revealed that Tamia has united with fellow female singers Deborah Cox and Kelly Price under the moniker of TDK. They are now busy working with producer Shep Crawford (Whitney Houston) for their first compilation project called "The Queen Project".
"My goal was to highlight the amazing talents individually, while blending them together to unite for this mega project," Shep told BV Buzz about the group's album. "This is a unique union that will provide the music you have come to expect from these three superstars."
Tamia to Record Her First Live Album
July 14, 2008 02:07:02After dropping a compilation album titled "Between Friends/A Gift Between Friends", singer Tamia is set to release another music project soon. Reports said that the singer will be spawning a live album, that will be taken from one of her upcoming U.S. tours.
The recording for the upcoming live set will be done on her gig in Washington D.C on August 10. Unfortunately, there are still no information yet on when will the live album be released. The idea for the live album itself has been hinted by Tamia on her recent interview with Thatgrapejuice.net which was done in May.
R and B Singer Tamia to Release a Christmas EP

Grammy-nominated R&B artist Tamia will release a Christmas album called 'A Gift Between Friends'. The CD will be more into an EP rather than a full length studio album for the latter is slated to hit the stores only next year.
The EP will contain five to seven songs, two of which are reportedly seasonal tracks. The follow up of 2006's 'Between Friends' will be dropped October 2. A longer version of the EP is aimed for a 2008 release with some new materials included.

R&B singer Tamia, 31, and her basketball player husband Grant Hill, 34, happily welcomed the arrival of their second daughter earlier Thursday August 9th in Orlando, FL.
The newlyborn, named Lael Rose Hill was born at 2:45 pm, weighing in at 6 lbs, 8 oz. Representative for the couple confirmed the good news to People, saying mother and daughter are all doing fine.
