Rock band have put out a music video supporting their new single "Sink Into Me". In the video shot by director Travis Kopach in Brooklyn, the band are seen getting dirty by throwing themselves into what is described as "sticky, black sludge."

"Sink Into Me" is the lead single from Taking Back Sunday's upcoming fourth studio album "". "[it's] one of the songs that sort of represents the direction that Taking Back Sunday is going. Plus, it has a little bit of flavor from where we've been," the band's frontman Adam Lazzara said of the track.

While announcing that their fourth studio album has been on the making, also reveal that member Fred Mascherino is quitting the band. The guitarist left the group in early September to concentrate on a side project namely The Color Fred.

Frontman Adam Lazzara expressed his thoughts on the departure, "We are sad to see Fred go and we wish him well with his new project." Although there's still no plan of replacement, Lazzara maintains the current members' composure in preparation of the next album. "We're alive and well," he said. "We've started working on the new album and it feels really good."

Alternative rock band dominated the 2006 mtvU Woodie Awards, held Wednesday Oct 25th at New York's Roseland Ballroom. The band, formed by former star Tom DeLonge, claimed the event's top prize the Woodie of The Year (Artist of the Year) award.

Also won an honor during the award show, held to honor US college students' favorite emerging artists and music, was who brought home The Breaking Woodie (Best Emerging Artist) award, and who nabbed the Left Field Woodie (Most Original Artist) award.

The Bass Player for Taking Back Sunday Injured

Adam Lazzarra, the singer of music act , accidentally injured fellow band member. And the so unlucky man happens to be Matt Rubana, the bass player of the band.

The 'accident' happened when Lazzarra accidentally hit Rubana in the temple during a set at the Give It A Name festival. Despite all, the rest of the band members carried on through the set, while Rubana was later on taken to hospital with suspected concussion.

Former Blink-182 Guitarist Has Formed A New Band

"When I realized Blink wasn't going to be happening anymore, I realized I had new things that I needed to live up to," Tom DeLonge, former guitarist of told Billboard.com while remarked further "I had no idea I was going to make the best album of my life." And thus, DeLonge came up with a great idea, which was forming a band.

Soon as it was realized, the band called , will on Wednesday hit the road before shortly thereafter release its debut album, self-produced "No Need to Whisper," on May 23rd later this year via Geffen Records. As of its members, the newly established band consists of David Kennedy, a bandmate from DeLonge's side project Box Car Racer, former Rocket from the Crypt drummer Atom Willard and former The Distillers bassist Ryan Sinn.
