Video Premiere: t.A.T.u's '220'
June 05, 2008 11:06:56Controversial Russian pop duo t.A.T.u have just officially premiered their new music video on June 4 via their official YouTube channel. The new clip was made for the singers' second single "220" from their upcoming album "Waste Management", set to drop later this year.
Unlike the earlier video for their first single "White Robe", which has a serious storyline, the new clip is being kept simple as it only sees the duo singing accompanied by their band in a stage, with Yulia Volkova singing most of the tunes. It is also a very colorful video as it gets brighter and brighter at the end.

November 29, 2007 12:11:48Previously only a preview, the full first video from t.A.T.u's third studio album has been premiered on MTV Russia. The song is called 'White Robe' or 'Beliy Plashchik' in Russian and it's taken from the album 'Waste Management', due early 2008.
Apt to the album's title, the concept of the video is matched to the whole war theme. 'Waste Management' is the term used to describe human condition in concentration camp during World War II. The video also shows both members Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova in the cruel time frame but each living different fate.
t.A.T.u Preparing to Release a Third Album

Female duo t.A.T.u are back with their third album which will be both in Russian and English. The album is confirmed to be titled 'Waste Management' or 'Upravleniye Otbrosami' and is expected to be released in U.S. this fall or early 2008.
Despite playing 'Don't Regret' in many of their live shows, t.A.T.u will release 'White Robe' as the first single off the album. The music video has been shot and will be released anytime soon. Other confirmed tracks in the album are 'Little People', '220', 'Time on the Moon' and 'You and I'.

Good news comes from Russian music duo t.A.T.u's personnel, Yulia Volkova. She's been reported pregnant with her second child. She's carrying new partner, businessman Parviz's baby.
Singer/actor friend, Sergey Lazarev confirmed the pregnancy news, saying "Yes, she's pregnant, she told me a few weeks ago. She's expecting at Christmas. I'm really excited for her. Motherhood has really changed her. When she gave birth to Viktoria she suddenly grew up and calmed down. She's a lot more mature now."
Mischa Barton Tries "Finding t.A.T.u"

Giving a Hollywood touch to the project, Mischa Barton has given her agreement to star in Russian coming-of-age drama "Finding t.A.T.u, being cast alongside the likes of Shantel VanSanten, Anton Yelchin, Alex Kaluzhsky, and Helena Mattsson.
Based on Russian author A. Mitrofanov's novel "t.A.T.u come back", the project, set against a background of music, Internet chatrooms and hedonistic Russian nightlife, presents a story of a lonely American teenager in Moscow who becomes friends with a local girl over their shared obsession with singing duo t.A.T.u.
The Dangerous t.A.T.u Moving
September 13, 2005 02:09:11British superstar Sting along with Richard Carpenter of The Carpenter helped out on the newest offering from the Russian pop duo, t.A.T.u. The two collaborated for t.A.T.u's sophomore album, "Dangerous and Moving," which comes out in the United States via Interscope Oct. 11.
In the 12-track set Sting played bass on "Friend or Foe," while Carpenter arranged and conducted the string parts for "Gomenasai." The album's first single, "All About Us," hits dance clubs this month and will be sent to Top 40 radio in October. Meanwhile, the "All the Things She Said" hit-makers are celebrating the birth of a new member of their extended family, in which singer Julia Volkova recently had a baby with her girlfriend.
