Little did people know that Sum 41's "Underclass Hero" is going to weigh a lot more than meets the eye. Even before the record arrives on shelves, the band has warned that "It is NOT a political record". The Canadian trio may have some explanation to do.
Chosen as the first single, "March of the Dogs" has no literary meaning but metaphorical content that touch the chord of US president. The lyrics speaks for itself: "Ladies and gentlemen of the underclass/The president of the United States of America is dead...And now the president's dead/Because they blew off his head/No more neck to be red/I guess to heaven he fled."
Sum 41 Prepares the "Underclass Heroes"

Post a difficulty in naming the finished album, Sum 41 comes up with "Underclass Hero" after the first single that will be released. The record will arrive on US shelves July 24 via Island Records.
The first single will circulate US rock radios on May 15 while another track "March of the Dogs" is readily available on iTunes. The album marks the first record that they do as a trio after guitarist Dave Baksh calling it quit last year.

The young, beautiful, and talented singer Avril Lavigne and longtime boyfriend Deryck Whibley of the band Sum 41 tied the knot Saturday afternoon July 15th, 2006 in California.
The outdoor ceremony took place at a private estate in the coastal city of Montecito, 90 miles northwest of Los Angeles. People magazine noted there were about 110 guests in attendance, including Whibley's pals at the band and a longtime friend of Lavigne's.
Sum 41 Guitarist Now Concentrates on His Own Band

Dave Baksh, the guitarist of music act Sum 41, has at last decided to leave the Canadian pop-punk group in order to concentrate on his own band, Brown Brigade.
And due to such fact, Sum 41 who is in the middle of recording a new studio album, will keep on going with the recording process and will not seek a permanent replacement for Baksh.
