October 19, 2009 09:10:24On Saturday, October 17, Spike TV honored sci-fi, horror, fantasy and comic-inspired films and TV shows through its 4th annual Scream Awards and unveiled "Twilight" and "True Blood" as the two dominant winners. The vampire drama movie and TV series were each taking home four kudos.
"Twilight" grabbed the title of Best Fantasy Movie, in addition to three other awards for its stars. Robert Pattinson was hailed Best Fantasy Actor, Kristen Stewart got Best Fantasy Actress and Taylor Lautner landed Breakout Performance Male. Both Pattinson and Stewart missed the gala ceremony, but Lautner was present to debut exclusive "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" footage.
Stephen Moyer Wants to Start a Family With Fiancee Anna Paquin

"What's in store in the future for Anna and I? Well, we're going to have little vampire babies," thisislondon.co.uk quotes the 39-year-old star as saying.
"From the moment I met Anna we got on really well. There was an immediate sense of play, we starting working well together. She's a superb actress. After the pilot I went back to London, she went to New York but we missed each other," the Bill Compton of "True Blood" elaborates. "It seems really organic and natural, it feels like the most normal thing in the world."
Stephen Moyer: 'I Haven't Watched Vampire Diaries and Twilight'

News at the L.A. Dogworks and Good Dog Animal Rescue fund raiser on Wednesday, September 23, he said "I haven't watched Vampire Diaries. And I haven't seen Twilight either."
The depicter of vampire Bill Compton in "True Blood", nevertheless, managed to name some TV series that he loves to watch. "I f--king love Breaking Bad," he confessed. "I've watched it twice through." Gushing further about his love for the AMC's series, he revealed "At the Emmys, I actually went and introduced myself to Vince Gilligan, the creator, because I'd love to do it."
Stephen Moyer of 'True Blood' Gets a 'Priest' Role

The actor, who is currently playing vampire Bill Compton in HBO series "True Blood", will portray a mortal character in this vampire film. He is going to be the brother of Priest, the major leading character portrayed by Paul Bettany.
Also joining him in the cast ensemble is Lily Collins. The actress, who recently appeared in The CW drama series "90210", has been taped to portray Priest's kidnapped niece. Beside this upcoming project, Collins stars in Sandra Bullock-starring film "The Blind Side" which is going to hit U.S. theaters on November 20.

Following the stream for red carpet photo session were the main cast of the vampire drama series such as Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley, and Ryan Kwanten. The latest came to the event with his mother Kris. Additionally, Carrie Preston who plays Arlene Fowler in the series was accompanied by her actor husband Michael Emerson, who can be recognized playing Ben Linus on ABC's "Lost".

Speaking to TV Guide Magazine on the "True Blood" set, Moyer confirms he and Paquin "are together." On what keeps them waiting to go public with their romance, the actor explains, "The reason it was dodged last year was very intentional on both our parts. It was very important to me that the cast and crew we were working with didn't feel it was fickle, and didn't feel it could possibly potentially encroach on their lives, you know, just like, 'Oh the two stars are having a thing.'"
'True Blood' Cast Speak of Second Season

Online, has been trying to dig clues on the answers to the questions that leave the first season hanging. One of the things is whether Lafayette really dies.
It was seen in the very last scene of "True Blood" season one that a foot, very much like Lafayette's, is lifeless in the back seat of Detective Bellefleur's car. To this, Nelsan Ellis who portrays Lafayette, plays it coy saying "They have to wait and see," when asked whether or not it was the end of the character's fate.
Blood Red Carpet for Vampire Series 'True Blood' Premiere
September 05, 2008 04:09:51Presenting their latest novel adaptation for television series, HBO rolled down a blood red carpet in front of The Cinerama Dome in Hollywood to celebrate the L.A. premiere of "True Blood". The special first screening event was held on Wednesday, September 4, three days before the series will be aired for the first time on September 7.
The evening celebration saw mostly the stars of the series that include Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, Ryan Kwanten, Jim Parrack, Sam Trammell and Rutina Wesley. Aside from the stars, series creator Alan Ball and Southern Vampire Mysteries books author Charlaine Harris were also in attendance.
