'Criminal Minds' Star Shemar Moore on the Mend After Being Hit by Car

News that the "Criminal Minds" star is recovering from broken leg which he suffered after being hit by a car over the weekend. The representative states Moore is "doing well, considering, and is resting comfortably at home after a brief hospital sojourn."
Moore was bike riding in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 1 when he was suddenly struck by a car. Following the accident, he was taken to an L.A.-area hospital where he was treated for his broken leg and was released soon thereafter.

The time has come for Shemar Moore to pay the price of his bad attitude. The actor, famous for his portrayal of Malcolm Winters in TV series "The Young and the Restless" (1994 – 2002), was sentenced to probation and community service in an alcohol-related speeding case.
Back on June 1st, Shemar was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol just after 1 a.m. after he was caught exceeding the 65 mph speed limit near Santa Monica Boulevard. He, as a consequence, was charged on June 22nd with driving under the influence and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or above.

Shemar Moore is a free man. The actor, who was arrested in the early hours of June 1st after being pulled over by Los Angeles police for reportedly speeding near Santa Monica Boulevard at 1:30 am, was pleaded no contest to DUI charge Friday June 22nd.
Initially facing six months in jail and a $1000 fine, Shemar was sentenced to three years' probation, ordered to pay the standard $1,400 DUI fine and had a choice of either performing 80 hours of community service or spending 80 hours in an alcohol-education program.
