December 31, 2008 01:12:25A music video aimed to support a charity single called "Save a Life", performed by so-called Shaggy & Friends, has made its way out. Directed by Jay Will, the video has Sean Paul and Elephant Man among others as cameos.
The Carleene Samuels-produced video shows the musicians standing behind the microphone in the studio singing to the song. At some points, it is intercepted with a capture of doctors and nurses helping patients in a seemingly to be a children hospital. It also features a scene showing several children standing behind a piano desk and strumming some riffs.
Shaggy's Music Videos for Euro 2008 Songs
May 16, 2008 01:05:56The music videos for Shaggy's new single "Feel the Rush" has been aired. The clip was directed by Jay Will and was made to promote the upcoming soccer tournament Euro 2008, to be held in Austria and Switzerland from June 7 to 29.
On the video Shaggy was accompanied by the two mascots from the tournament Trix & Flix. The clip also sees some soccer players doing lots of cool tricks.

In conjunction to its video premiere, there is a special behind-the-scenes making of this "high concept, high fashion video" according to Shaggy's MySpace. The video that features lots of women is dubbed "sexy" by the rapper.

Low on personal life, Amy Winehouse has her career still going uphill proven by numbers of nominations she earns in this year's MOBO Awards. The singer, who is currently in rehab, is up for 4 categories- Best Video for 'Back to Black', Best Song for 'Rehab', Best R&B and Best U.K. Female.
Amy's number is then followed by Kanye West who got 3 nods for Best International Act, Best Video for 'Stronger' and Best Hip-Hop. In the latter nomination he will go head to head with rival 50 Cent who has been linked to him as heavy competitor.

Amid the many new wide release movies in recent days, there's a change in North American box office which unfortunately ends the reign of "Inside Man" in the chart. The drama thriller flick's top position is seized by the animated sequel "Ice Age: The Meltdown", which scores about $114 million worth in tickets sales, such amount enough to remove the previous flick to No. 2. with another $15.7 million in ticket sales.
The next is "ATL" with $12.5 million, ahead of "Failure to Launch" at No. 4 with $6.6 million and "V For Vendetta" at No. 5 with $6.4 million. Horror, thriller "Stay Alive" ($4.575 million) is 6th, followed by comedy romance "She's the Man" at No. 7 which scores $4.571 million. Comedy horror "Slither" is next with $3.7 million. Meanwhile, "The Shaggy Dog" is at No. 9, while "Basic Instinct 2" is at No. 10 alongside "Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector", both of which score an amount of $3 million.

Bank-robbery thriller "Inside Man" is the top-grossing weekend film in the North American box office for the week ended Sunday March 26th, 2006. The movie featuring the high-octane trio of Denzel Washington, Clive Owen and Jodie Foster, takes the No. 1 spot with estimated ticket sales of $29 million.
Meanwhile, last weekend's champ, the futuristic terrorist drama "V for Vendetta," slips to No. 2 with $12.3 million, ahead of Walt Disney Co.'s video game thriller "Stay Alive," which opens at No. 3 with $11.2 million. Securing the No. 4 position is the romantic comedy "Failure to Launch" which falls two places from last week's position.

V apparently is not merely for "Vendetta", but "victory" as well. The political thriller, tentatively titled "V for Vendetta", has seized the box office's throne from its predecessor comedy romance "Failure to Launch", taking in an estimated $26.1 million to become the No. 1 movie in the US.
Last week's top movie, the romantic comedy "Failure to Launch" automatically drops one to 2nd place with $15.8 million. Last week's runner-up, "The Shaggy Dog," also slips one place to No. 3 brings in $13.6 million in ticket sales. Elsewhere, the new release "She's the Man" debuts at No.4 with $11 million in tickets sold.

"Failure to Launch," a romantic comedy starring Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker, scores great early on its release days. The movie amazingly takes in $24.6 million in ticket sales, debuting as the top weekend movie in the US box office. "The Shaggy Dog" in the meantime secures the 2nd position with $16 million.
Drama horror thriller "The Hills Have Eyes" is at 3rd, scores $15.5 million in ticket sales. Secures the 4th place is "16 Blocks," which takes in $7.3 million, ahead of "Madea's Family Reunion" at No. 5 which drops from the top slot with $5.8 million. Hangs at No. 6 is drama action "Eight Below" with an estimated ticket sales reaches $5.4 million.
