Sean Bean Arrested in London for Assaulting His Wife, Already Made Up
July 28, 2008 12:07:17Sean Bean was arrested for domestic assault, reports claimed. The "Lord of the Rings" actor reportedly was arrested at his home in Camden, North London, Thursday night, July 24 after a quarrel with his wife of five months, Georgina Sutcliffe.
According to the Daily Mail, Sutcliffe allegedly called police telling them she was being attacked by Bean following a heated argument. Despite his denial, insisted it was simply a domestic row that had got out of hand, Bean was detained to the nearest police station in Holborn. Being kept in custody for about 6 hours, he was released on bail at about 6 A.M. on Friday morning, July 25 after Sutcliffe dropped her allegations against him.

Sutcliffe's representative would not confirm any details about the wedding, yet it's been reported that there were only fifteen close friends and family members attended the service that saw the groom wore a blue two-piece pin stripe suit and the bride wore a simple black pencil skirt with a cream top and carried a simple bouquet of white roses. The small group of guests included Sean's three daughters; Lorna, Molly, and Evie Natasha from his previous relationships.

Making up a seemingly promising lineup, Ryan Phillippe, Sean Bean, and Abbie Cornish are all poised to work together as the stars of an epic feature entitled "Last Battle Dreamer" for Future Films, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Phillippe, last seen in Billy Ray's thriller drama "Breach", is said to be billed as a seventh-century Viking warrior named Thorfinn who invades Britain alongside his older brother, the battle-scarred Hakon, played by Bean. What character Cornish is set to portray, however, is not mentioned, but it could be the English noblewoman whom Phillippe's character falls for.

It is based on the Konami game, in which Rose desperately searches for her lost daughter in the mysterious, terrifying town of Silent Hill, where they are trapped.
"Silent Hill," directed by Christophe Gans and written by Roger Avary, stars Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, Laurie Holden, Deborah Kara Unger, Kim Coates, Tanya Allen and Jodelle Ferland. It will open widely April 21.
