December 24, 2007 01:12:44Known for his eccentric and clumsy character in famous British television series, "Mr. Bean", Rowan Atkinson apparently couldn't get rid of the clumsiness of his character as he accidentally backed his rented SUV into a woman's parked car. According to reports, the incident took place in Aspen, Colorado, US, during a Christmas trip on Thursday, December 20.
Colorado police said that the British comedian was moving his car from a parking space when he struck Volkswagen Jetta. Sgt Dan Davis explained the situation saying, "He was backing out of a parking spot and didn't see the car behind him. There was a little bit of damage to the car. He put a ding in it."

Bringing out the ceremony for the first time in history, organizers of this year's UK Nickelodeon Kid's' Choice Awards have neatly lined up contenders in the film categories for fans to vote from now and pick up their favorites to determine the bests.
In the top slot of Best Movie, film sequels are playing majority here as "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End", and "Shrek the Third" are all placed in alongside "The Simpsons Movie", which just took its U.S. debut last Friday, July 27.

Numbers of celebrities rally to join the upcoming "Idol Gives Back." It is a two-night special held to raise awareness and funds for organizations that provide relief programs to help children and young people in extreme poverty in America and Africa.
The likes of Kelly Clarkson, Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Forest Whitaker, Helena Bonham Carter, Daniel Radcliffe, Teri Hatcher and Rowan Atkinson, are all scheduled to appear on the charity, a two-night special airing Tuesday, April 24th (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and Wednesday, April 25th (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on Fox.

George Lucas' Jar Jar Binks of "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" comes out as the winner as the most irritating film character on earth, ever. The result is based on a poll from approximately 5,000 movie fans who voted through a UK website LoveFilm.com.
Binks, the fiction computer-machine character, wins the competition from a real human character, Carrie, played by Andie MacDowell in "Four Weddings And A Funeral".
