Robyn Tapped to Open Madonna's European Tour
June 18, 2008 04:06:37Robyn has been tapped to become the opening act for Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour. The Swedish singer reportedly will join the pop diva on stage through out her August and September date which all of them are being staged in Europe.
The "With Every Heart Beat" singer will start her road trip with Madonna on August 26 at Nice Stade Charles Ehrmann, Nice, France. After that, according to the current schedule, she will join the multi talented singer at about 8 more venues, with the tour being set to end on September 27 at Athens Olympic Stadium, Athens, Greece.
Video Premiere: Robyn's 'Who's That Girl'
April 09, 2008 03:04:13A music video for Robyn's "Who's That Girl" has been released on her YouTube channel. The song is the fifth single from her 2005 album "Robyn" which according to a press release, will soon hit the U.S. stores on April 29 as part of her deal with Interscope Records.
The music video is directed by Diane Martel who has penned videos for Alicia Keys and Mariah Carey. "Robyn" the album has hit both her native country of Sweden and U.K. in 2005 and 2007 respectively. It is now packaged to be released Stateside with collaborations from Swedish electronic duo The Knife and rock band Teddybears.

The new clip was directed by Max Vitali and premiered on Robyn's official site, exclusively for the VIP members. It shows Robyn tormented by the vision of her ex-boyfriend who already got hold of a new girl.

Robyn and her brilliant concept have resulted in a hilarious and unique music video for 'Handle me'. The video had the Swedish singer dressed in a jukebox costume, moved about in a box space and 'manhandling' a large stuffed bear.
Within hours of the video release on Tuesday, October 10, it has gained more than 170,000 views on YouTube.

With the delayed release date, Britney Spears' comeback album is available for more ideas and constructions. Swedish singer slash songwriter Robyn Miriam Carlsson or more known as simply Robyn has been tapped to pen a song for the pop diva.
"I've been approached about writing a new song for Britney and I'm cool with that," Robyn told the Daily Star. "I've written for her before but it only got to the recording stages, so doing it again would be a good move for me. I'd like to think I could help."

The Grammys brought good luck for Houston native Robyn Troup as she was chosen the winner of the "My Grammy Moment" contest, thus made it possible for her to take the stage alongside pop star Justin Timberlake.
Jennifer Hudson, one of the "Dreamgirls", crowned Robyn the winner, with the most votes from online and text-message voting, during the live broadcast Sunday night Feb 11th. Then rushed onstage to perform with Timberlake, the duo covered the Bill Withers' hit "Ain't No Sunshine" and Timberlake's hit "My Love."

The threesome will compete to win the chance to perform live with Justin Timberlake on the 49th annual Grammy Awards, Feb. 11 (8:00-11:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The three finalists will all come to Los Angeles and will each rehearse with Timberlake during the week before the Grammys. They will be in the audience during the broadcast as voting continues.
