Rob Zombie Developing 'The Blob' Remake
August 28, 2009 03:08:26After making a sequel to "Halloween", Rob Zombie is developing "The Blob", a remake to 1958 horror classic of the same name. Variety reported the director/musician, who has been known as an expert in making horror films, has been attached to write, direct as well as produce the new science fiction movie.
Though it is a remake, Zombie promised his film will be much different than the original because he will remove the gigantic Jello creature. "My intention is not to have a big red blobby thing - that's the first thing I want to change. That gigantic Jello-looking thing might have been scary to audiences in the 1950s, but people would laugh now," he explained.
No 'Halloween 3' for Rob Zombie
July 27, 2009 03:07:46There may never be another "Halloween" film for director Rob Zombie. Being interviewed by MTV at San Diego Comic Con 2009 during which he promoted his upcoming movie "H2: Halloween 2", the director stated that he will not make a third "Halloween" movie, saying "No. I could not see that in any shape, way or form. Never."
However, Zombie, who previously directed "Houses of 1000 Corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects", refused to explain why he is unwilling to be involved in the third installment of the film. "If I told you [why], you wouldn't believe me," he stated. He moreover added that he doesn't have desire to share his reason, saying "And, I don't want to tell you."
New Poster of 'H2: Halloween 2' and Update by Rob Zombie
May 09, 2009 11:05:02Another poster of "H2: Halloween 2" has been unveiled through director Rob Zombie's MySpace. The one-sheet in a blue shade gives a more up-close shot of Michael Myers, the villain who is made more human-like than other "Halloween" series.
The subject of Myers being unmasked for 70% of the movie has also been clarified by Zombie who told Slash Film that it is an utter "bullshit". He explained, "It is total bullshit. See, I think Wayne Toth [SFX] said [70% mask-less] when you guys were down on the set. Wayne wasn't bullshitting you, but that was taken out of context, and to an extreme [online]."

April 06, 2006 10:04:14
In a recap of the Top 10 albums on the US pop album charts for the week ended Sunday, there's something interesting that people could obviously see. It's the new chart-topper which debuts on its very top position.
The top spot on the Billboard 200 surprisingly is seized by Atlanta rapper T.I., whose album "King" sold almost 522,000 copies, such amount enough to push last week chart topper Prince's "3121" aside to No. 8 with only 75,000 copies. Checking in at No. 2 in the meantime is Tim McGraw's "Reflected: Greatest Hits Vol. 2," which sold 242,000 copies.
