"Savior" is the third single from Rise Against's fifth studio album "Appeal to Reason". The self-written track peaked at number 4 on Billboard Alternative Songs chart and reached number 16 on Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks.
Rise Against's 'Hero of War' Music Video Premiered

The Meriert Avis-directed video shows band's frontman Tim McIlrath sitting on a swing while singing to the song and strumming his guitar. At some points, it also captures several soldiers on a battle.
"Hero of War" comes from Rise Against's 2008 effort "Appeal to Reason". The multi-layered acoustic guitar song tells the story of a soldier as "he battles not just the war around him, but the war that rages within."
Video Premiere: Rise Against's 'Audience of One'

Making its way out on January 15 on MySpace Music, it was directed by Brett Simon and shot in Los Angeles. It features the band performing in a miniature world on the White House lawn.
"Audience of One" is one of the tracks included in Rise Against's fifth major studio album "Appeal to Reason". The song has been played at some of the biggest radio stations in U.S. with the official add date still two weeks away.

September 23, 2008 04:09:33A music video for Rise Against's new song called "Re-Education (Through Labor)" has been dropped. Assisted by Kevin Kerslake, the music video shows the band playing in an underground bunker with a gang of motorcyclists.
When the video begins, a famous quote from John F. Kennedy appears on the screen. "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable," the statement read. As the video progresses, it captures the bikers riding around and dropping people in various locations. The closing scene shows the row of bikers watching the city exploding in the night.
Behind-the-Scenes of Rise Against's 'Re-Education (Through Labor)' Music Video
September 18, 2008 11:09:35Punk rock band Rise Against are now in the middle of filming a music video in support of their first single called "Re-Education (Through Labor)". The song, which supposedly speaks of the human rights and labor violations occurring in modern day China, will appear in the band's upcoming fifth studio album, "Appeal to Reason", which is due for release on October 7.
The music video is confirmed to be directed by Kevin Kerslake, the same guy who helped Papa Roach making their "To Be Loved" music video. The preview of the video shows that the band's video will feature some dangerous stunts from several motocross racers.
My Chemical Romance Announced A Full-Scale Headlining US Tour

American rock band My Chemical Romance is about to embark on a tour to support their gold-certified album, "The Black Parade." The U.S. arena tour will kick off in Manchester, NH at the Verizon Wireless Arena on February 22, 2007.
Has been tapped to support My Chemical Romance on the tour is Rise Against, which is slated to be the opening act on all of the dates. Meanwhile, rock band Muse has also been added to the headliners list.

Johnny Cash's "American V: A Hundred Highways" earns the No. 1 spot on Billboard's albums chart with 88,000 copies sold in the week ended Sunday. This of course is a great attainment a set has ever reached considering the slow holiday week at retail, while also marks the late singer's No. 1 album since 1969's "At San Quentin".
What is more about "American V: A Hundred Highways", which is a collection of songs Cash recorded just before his death in 2003, the set moreover also crowned the Top Country Albums tally, knocking the Dixie Chicks' "Taking the Long Way" to No. 2 after seven weeks on top.
Musicians Do Almost Acoustic Xmas Show for KROQ-FM

As of our musicians, they are also busy with the preparation for the Los Angeles radio station KROQ-FM's annual Almost Acoustic Xmas show to be held December 10-11 at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk.
Those who have signed on to perform on the show among others are Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Coldplay, The White Stripes, System of a Down, and Korn. Get the turn to perform on the first night is NIN, System of a Down, Korn, Fall Out Boy, Thrice, Rise Against and Avenged Sevenfold. Whereas, the next evening will see performances by Depeche Mode, The White Stripes, Coldplay, Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie, Nada Surf, Hot Hot Heat and The Bravery.
