'Underworld: Rise of the Lycans' Takes World Premiere to L.A.
January 23, 2009 02:01:43On Thursday, January 22, exactly a day before "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans" opens in theaters across the U.S., Screen Gems have given the supernatural thriller a red carpet treatment by holding out a world premiere event. The special screening event took place at the ArcLight Cinemas in
Hollywood.
Attending the premiere were some of the movie's major characters, Bill Nighy who plays Viktor, Michael Sheen who stars as Lucian and Rhona Mitra who portrays Sonja. They were joined by cast member Kevin Grevioux, director Patrick Tatopoulos, producer Len Wiseman and Screen Gems topper Clint Culpepper. Celebrity guests, like Garcelle Beauvais, Kip Pardue and Vail Bloom, have also been spotted at the event.
Bradley Cooper Dating British Actress Rhona Mitra
April 18, 2008 01:04:34While there has yet denial or verification on the reports of him dating movie co-star Jennifer Aniston, there comes a new report that Bradley Cooper is dating British actress Rhona Mitra. E! branded both stars, who had brief stints on "Nip/Tuck," "new couple."
A representative for Cooper said she has "no idea" on the dating report. Mitra's representative, meanwhile, said he had "no clue" if his client is dating Cooper.
Stars Being Signed for New Thriller Boy in the Box

Joined the threesome are Jon Hamm, Jimmy Bennett, Jessica Chastain, and Marcus Thomas, the latest most recently appeared in John Dahl's comedy "You Kill Me." All have been confirmed to come under the direction of first-time helmer Anders Anderson.
Rhona Mitra Counts Down the Days to "Doomsday"

"The Practice" star Rhona Mitra has landed a big acting stint. The actress will topline a futuristic action thriller entitled "Doomsday" which is set to be Neil Marshall's follow-up to his acclaimed horror flick "The Descent."
Scheduled to begin filming early 2007, the project will see Mitra as the leader of an elite group assigned to go to a country infected with virus known as the Reaper. Unexpectedly, the troupe find themselves shut off from the rest of the world there and must battle through a landscape that has become a waking nightmare.
