Video Premiere: Prodigy's 'Dirty New Yorker'
April 23, 2008 11:04:09Rapper Prodigy has just premiered the video for his single "Dirty New Yorker". The single was taken from his new studio album "H.N.I.C. 2" that has just been released on April 22.
Beside "Dirty New Yorker" the new album also consists other tracks, such as "The Life", "Young Veterans", "New Vitty", etc., with the total of 13 songs on it. The new album is the sequel to his first solo album "H.N.I.C." which was released in 2000 and received Gold certification after selling about 700,000 copies in U.S.

March 03, 2008 02:03:18Before Prodigy heads to his cell, he releases a music video from his upcoming album. The rapper who is due to serve a three-and-a-half years of prison state, premiered the clip of "The Life", a track which is expected to be the second single off "H.N.I.C. 2".
The video is directed by DanTheMan who is the frequent helmer of his music videos. The director also sat for the music video of "ABC", Prodigy's first single off the album. Meanwhile, it was previously announced that he will translate the upcoming album to 1,400 languages, including Spanish, German and French. The album itself is due to be released on April 8 along with a DVD titled Free P that contains music videos for the tracks in the album.

A publicist for the one-half of the hip-hop duo Mobb Deep has confirmed to Sixshot.com that Prodigy "has thirty more days on the street" before he's set to turn himself into New York State authorities to begin his three and a half year prison term.
Rapper Prodigy's 2nd Album Translated to 1,400 Languages
December 27, 2007 10:12:06Refusing to go mild this time, Hip-Hop duo Mobb Deep's one half member, Prodigy, announced on Christmas day that he will release his second solo set, 'H.N.I.C. 2' in multiple languages, to be specific, 1,400 of them.
The album, which will hit stores worldwide in March 2008 through Voxonic Music and AAO Music/Reality, will have the rapper's voice converted to many foreign languages with translation technology that has 99 per cent accuracy.

If noticed from the title, this would be the second part of his debut album 'H.N.I.C.' (Head Nigga In Charge). As reported on AllHipHop.com, Prodigy said during J.A.M. Awards late last month that it would be dropped in February 2008. The first single is 'ABC's'.

Prodigy heading for the jail. Well possibly. The rapper is facing 15 years in prison for gun possession charges stemmed from an October 2006 arrest at time of which the police who stopped him for making an illegal u-turn found a .22-caliber handgun in his SUV.
Prodigy and hip hop music producer The Alchemist were stopped by two cops at around 2 a.m. back on October 26th after they were seen "make a U-turn and begin heading the wrong way on Ninth Avenue at West 31st Street ," the New York Post wrote. Both officers testified in a Manhattan court Thursday October 4th they witnessed Prodigy placed his hand near or on the open console, where they allegedly found the fully loaded and unlicensed gun.

Among numbers of music stars vying for the title of World's Sexiest Vegetarian, there we see Common. The rapper is vying for this year title, joining the likes of Persia White, Masta Killa, GZA, KRS-One, Murphy Lee, Mos Def, Prodigy, Forest Whitaker, and Ruben Studdard who are all in the running.
The annual poll, conducted by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), is the third one. It features over 200 celebrity candidates with winner of the 2007 World's Sexiest Vegetarian title will be revealed in late June.

Congratulation for Welsh band Lostprophets for they are the big winners at the 13th annual Kerrang! Awards, held August 24th in London. The music act won two awards all at once, Best Album for "Liberation Transmission" and Best British Band as well.
Muse, who nabbed five nominations, in the meantime only won one, which was for Best Live Band. For the Best International Newcomer category, the award went to Aiden while the Best British Newcomer was Bring Me The Horizon. Bullet for My Valentine's "Tears Don't Fall" was chosen as Best Single, and Placebo was the Classic Songwriter.
Still on Top of the Charts Is Westlife
November 08, 2005 11:11:31Irish boy band Westlife celebrates their winning, even double as their latest album entitled "Face To Face" has joined their single "You Raise Me Up" at the top of the charts. This is the second time that their single is number one, while the album attainment automatically pushes Robbie Williams' "Intensive Care" off the top spot to No. 2 as Rod Stewart's "Thanks for the Memory -- Great American Songbook Vol. 4" entering the charts at No. 3.
In the meantime, at number 4 in the album chart is "Living A Dream," which is another new entry by Katherine Jenkins. The Prodigy compilation album "Their Law - The Singles" falls three places to number five.
