Winners List of 2009 MTV EMAs, Beyonce Knowles Leads With Three Nods
November 06, 2009 09:11:45Hosted by Katy Perry, 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards has just been wrapped. In the main categories, Beyonce Knowles dominated the winners list with three gongs, two of which were for Best Song and Best Female.
In Best Song, Beyonce's "Halo" beat such hit singles as Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling", David Guetta's "When Love Takes Over", Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody" and Lady GaGa's "Poker Face". For Best Female meanwhile, she dethroned Katy, Leona Lewis, Shakira and pushed aside Lady GaGa once again.
Placebo Premiere Music Video for 'For What It's Worth'
April 22, 2009 10:04:47A music video directed by Howard Greenhalgh to support Placebo's single called "For What It's Worth" has been debuted. It mostly highlights the band's live performance in a building. Their performance is sometimes intercepted with a capture of people doing their daily basis routine in town.
"For What It's Worth" is one of the new materials to be listed in Placebo's soon-to-be-released studio album "Battle for the Sun". The lead single off the record was played on radio for the first time on April 20 during Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 program.
Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution Tour Is On

Linkin Park that gain the partnership of My Chemical Romance to headline 2007 Projekt Revolution Tour is set to launch the tour on July 25 in a city waiting to be announced later this month. The tour will crisscross North America, visit Phoenix, Dallas, Atlanta, Tampa, Camden and many more before winding down on September 3 in Englewood, Colo.
Supporting acts expected in the main stage are Taking Back Sunday, H.I.M., Placebo and Julien-K. Meanwhile, the smaller Revolution Stage will be occupied by Mindless Self Indulgence, Saosin, The Bled, Styles of Beyond and Madina Lake. Linkin Park as the headliner is conducting this tour to promote new album "Minutes to Midnight" which is due May 15.
The 2006 Kerrang! Awards Big Winners

Congratulation for Welsh band Lostprophets for they are the big winners at the 13th annual Kerrang! Awards, held August 24th in London. The music act won two awards all at once, Best Album for "Liberation Transmission" and Best British Band as well.
Muse, who nabbed five nominations, in the meantime only won one, which was for Best Live Band. For the Best International Newcomer category, the award went to Aiden while the Best British Newcomer was Bring Me The Horizon. Bullet for My Valentine's "Tears Don't Fall" was chosen as Best Single, and Placebo was the Classic Songwriter.
