Rapper Pitbull Hit by a Flying Bottle at Concert, Received Eight Staples
February 16, 2008 10:02:33Pitbull was injured and bled. The rap star was forced to cut short a show in Texas last week after he was hit by a flying bottle hurled from the audience that left him bleed.
Pitbull, who was born Armando Christian Perez, was performing at San Antonio club Planeta Mexico back on February 8 when he was struck upside his head by a bottle thrown from the crowd.

Rapper Pitbull Arrested for DUI, Released on $1,000 Bond
December 22, 2007 09:12:16Pitbull was arrested in Miami after he was stopped by Miami-Dade Police for speeding early Friday morning, December 21. According to an arrest report, he was charged with driving under influence (DUI).
Pitbull, a rap star, was detained around 3.14 A.M. Friday morning for driving his silver Mecedez Benz at a speed of 93 miles per hour in a 55 zone. He initially refused to get out of the car and when he did the officer wrote that he "could detect a strong breath odor of alcohol over the gum he was chewing," that Pitbull's speech was rapid and slurred and his eyes were bloodshot.

Cuban-American rapper Pitbull is set to release the fourth set of his studio album. Named "The Boatlift", the album that is due May 22 generates lots of his rapping persona compared to the previous three.
"It's a part two to El Mariel but more urban-based," he said. "There's more street records on there. I'm giving them another side to Pitbull. I had all the club records - you can easily go 45 minutes in the club just off my records. I just want to take these folks for a ride on this album based on what I know."
