Paz Vega Gives Birth to Second Child, a Baby Girl

The actress, who is best known for her starring role as Flor Moreno in 2004 film "Spanglish", has given birth to a baby girl on Friday, July 17 in Milan. The infant weighed in at 7 lbs., 2 oz at time of birth and is named Ava Salazar. She is the second child of Paz and her husband Orson Salazar.
"Paz and Ava are both healthy and enjoying being at home," a representative for Paz confirms the news to Celebrity Baby Blog. "Paz and Orson are both so excited about the new addition to their young family."

Paz Vega Four Months Pregnant With Second Child
February 23, 2009 03:02:43Spanish actress Paz Vega has confirmed that she is four months pregnant with another baby, her second child with husband Orson Salazar. Report on her pregnancy was first brought to the surface by People en Espanol.
"I'm doing really well. The upsets from the first months have passed - a couple of months that were really hard - and now, to enjoy!" so the movie beauty has been quoted as telling Europa Press in a recent interview. No other details of the forthcoming baby have been mentioned though.
'The Spirit' Haunts Hollywood for L.A. Premiere
December 18, 2008 04:12:53With "The Spirit" theatrical debut coming closer each day, Lionsgate Films held a special screening event for the comic adaptation movie. Taking place at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Wednesday, December 17, the Los Angeles premiere was made merry with the attending of many A-listers.
In the evening, director Frank Miller and producer Deborah Del Prete were seen coming to the premiere. The two were joined by the star-studded cast, including Gabriel Macht, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes, Jaime King, Paz Vega, Sarah Paulson, Stana Katic, Dan Lauria and Louis Lombardi.

Focusing on each of the beautiful women in the life of the superhero, the featurette is hosted by director Frank Miller as he introduces the ladies, Sand Saref, Silken Floss, Lorelei, Plaster of Paris, Morgenstern and Dr. Ellen Dolan.
Apart from character description by Miller, the nearly three minutes video exhibits commentary from the actresses who play the characters in the film as well as fresh footage from the film. A Slew of 'The Spirit' Fresh Pics Come Out

Sent by the site's reader by the name of Christopher M, most of the pictures are a close-up look into individual character from The Spirit himself to Commissioner Dolan and female rookie cop Morgenstern. The collection of photos also let out for the first time a shot of what seems to be Plaster of Paris.
Apart from those characters, the pics also exhibit Octopus, Sand Saref and Dr. Ellen Dolan. Moreover, some of the pictures look like to be a cut from the film's scene, like the one in which Ellen and Spirit are buttoning up their clothes when the commissioner walks into the examination room, and the other one where Spirit is tied up in a chair while the scantily clad Paris is swinging her blade toward him with full force.

There will be many beauty faces to look at in "The Spirit", this is for sure. Following the inclusion of Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes, filmmakers of the project have smoothly added two more female names into the cast, which turn out to be Paz Vega and Jaime King.
Vega is reported to play the knife-wielding Plaster of Paris while King fills in the role of a phantom siren named Lorelei Rox. Leading the lineup is New York-born actor Gabriel Macht as the titular character aka Denny Colt, who fakes his own death and fights crime from the shadows of Central City.

Three to Tango in "Dare to Love Me"

Rounding out a great ensemble of Latin cast, Rodrigo Santoro, Paz Vega, and Grammy Award-winning singer Shakira have all been confirmed to take part in a romantic epic feature entitled "Dare to Love Me."
Slated to start shooting next spring in Romania, the picture, set in 1930s Paris, tells about the life of Argentinean tango legend Carlos Gardel. Santoro is billed to play the crooner, while Vega and Shakira will both become his love interests in a romantic triangle. Alfonso Arau is on board to direct with Jeremy Leven writing the screenplay.

As shooting has been scheduled to take place between Serbia and Morocco, Spanish actress Paz Vega is still in talks to star in. Meanwhile, Antonio Banderas already signed on to star in the John Boorman's next film.
