Detailed Info on 'H2: Halloween 2' Soundtrack
July 31, 2009 02:07:45Details of "Halloween II - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" have been disclosed. Co-produced by film director Rob Zombie, the soundtrack album for "H2: Halloween 2" is set to be outed in U.S. stores on August 25, three days before the "Halloween" sequel lets out its terror in theaters across the country.
A number of tracks in the album will be filled with dialog from the film, whereas the rest will feature music from such musicians as Motorhead, Moody Blues, Scream, Rod Stewart, MC5, 10cc and Foghat. The named artists take on classic tracks ranging from "Nights in White Satin" and "The Things We Do For Love" to "(I Know) I'm Losing You".
Jarvis Cocker Hurls Legends for Meltdown

Pulp's Jarvis Cocker who acts as this year's Meltdown festival artistic director has succeeded convincing legends to appear at the event. Among people infused to appear are Motorhead, Melanie Safka, Devo, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Iggy Pop and The Stooges.
Motorhead will get a head start in the kick off gig on June 16 at Royal Festival Hall together with Melanie. For the latter, this would be her first British gig in 30 years. Devo will get its turn on June 19 while The Stooges and The Jesus and Mary Chain will be playing June 20 and 21 respectively.
Ozzy Osbourne Covers All Under

Ozzy Osbourne is set to cover John Lennon's "Woman," Joe Walsh's "Rocky Mountain Way" and the Moody Blues' "Go Now" under his new album. Dubbed "Under Cover," the set is a Dualdisc and will marry the street November 1 via Epic Records.
The three components actually is a follow up to the remaining 10 cuts that were released this year on the "Under Covers" disc of Osbourne's boxed set "Prince of Darkness." As of the forthcoming DVD set, it will feature the featurette "Dinner With Ozzy and Friends," which finds him regaling his son Jack Osbourne and Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister with tales of rock'n'roll excess. A video for Ozzy's cover of The Beatles' "In My Life" is also included.
