January 20, 2009 09:01:52A number of notable Hollywood celebrities speak out their pledges to the U.S. president-elect Barack Obama in a video, which is made by MySpace in partnership with Ashton Kutcher's Katalyst Media. "We are honored to be working with MySpace to rally the entertainment industry to answer President-elect Barack Obama's call to service," Ashton explains in a statement. "The Presidential Pledge is a platform for people across the nation and throughout the world to make a first-person commitment of service to our new president, articulating a specific intent or action to become an agent of positive change."
Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Nicole Richie, Kevin Connolly, Jason Bateman, Dakota Fanning and Molly Sims are among the stars featured in the video. Each of them has different pledges from one another, as for Courteney and David, the pair pledges to help supporting the hungers by feeding them and helping the local food bank. Dakota, meanwhile, pledges to never stop "learning and growing each day and every day."
A-List Stars Attending Ashton Kutcher's Birthday Bash Urged to Get Hepatitis A Shot

Fellow Hollywood celebrities who attended the hunk's birthday bash held at West Village hot spot Socialista back on February 7 have all been urged to get a Hepatitis A vaccination after a bartender was found to be infected.
The New York City Department of Health issued an alert Thursday, February 21, urging the A-list stars attended Ashton's 30th birthday party at the hot spot and everyone who was there on certain nights to get vaccinated as a precaution. The alert was issued because, according to the agency, a bartender who was working at Socialista in between Feb. 7, as well as Feb. 8 and 11, was infected with the disease.

Molly Sims to Host Children's Benefit
May 12, 2005 11:05:45Fashion model and actress Molly Sims is set to host the 3rd Annual "Night with the Friends of El Faro" Benefit, aimed to raise money to support the children of the orphanage, Casa Hogar Sion, in Tijuana, Mexico. Besides providing food and other basic essentials, caring for the children and maintaining the home, the Friends of El Faro and Corazón de Vida Foundation team have also raised money for special projects, including a new building, a retaining wall and tuition for twelve of the children to attend a private school.
And now, through the charity, Friends of El Faro wants to buy the orphanage and continue to provide financial support and a healthy, nurturing environment for the children. To support the charity, special musical performances will be made by Sophie B. Hawkins, Doheny, Wide Awake and Jim Bianco. Moreover, it will also be supported by the help of Cover Girl cosmetics, Beachbody, and Microsoft, with of the funds go to the children of El Faro.
