May 01, 2009 02:05:41In support of his single "Swagg Thru Da Roof", Mike Jones has filmed a music video for the track and has just debuted it. In the video, he is shown having a live web chat with two girls and giving one of them a call later on.
"Swagg Thru Da Roof" features Swole, who also produces the track. The song is expected to be released as the fourth single from Mike's sophomore set "The Voice", which has hit stores across America on April 28.

He is set to drop it under the title of "The Voice" on April 28 across America.
In "The Voice", Mike promises to bring out new sounds. He says in an interview with BallerStatus, "I've been away from the market so long, I just wanted to come back with a new look, a new image, and a new sound. Really, the sound been here, but since people say it's new, it's new."
Thousands of Families and Friends Attended Pimp C's Funeral
December 14, 2007 10:12:39Bun B, Chamillionaire, Mike Jones, Trae and Willie D of the Geto Boys were among thousands of families and friends saying farewell to Pimp C in a funeral held Thursday, December 13 at the Robert A. Bowers Civic Center in the rapper's southeast Texas hometown of Port Arthur.
As the funeral service was about to begin, instrumentals of the music that made Pimp C famous were played over the sound system and when the music stopped playing the Rev. John R. Adolph began a prayer. The religious ceremony also included the reading of a resolution by the mayor of Port Arthur and remembrances by Jeff Sledge of Jive Records and Pimp C's mother, Weslyn Monroe who said her only son was in heaven.
Mike Jones Changes Album Title and Release Date
November 27, 2007 10:11:23Changes have been made to Mike Jones' sophomore set. If previously the album was named 'The American Dream', it will now be released under the title 'The Voice of the Streets'.
Apparently, the old title was saved for the EP that was released in place of the album. 'The American Dream' EP was released on November 20, with 6 songs in the track list, including two materials from the first album, 'Still Tippin'' and 'Back Then'.

Following the trail of his fellow hip-hop music artists who shift into film feature, Houston-based rapper Mike Jones is working his way to make acting debut in a big screen project entitled "American Dream."
Set to bring out "Dream" to the surface in conjunction with Asylum Records and Warner Bros. Records, Jones has brought aboard producers Gregory Anderson and Keith Paschall along with director Derrick Dixon to help him developing the movie. The film itself will be the first from his newly established film production company of the same name.
