Michael Madsen Booked at London's Posh Dorchester Hotel for 'Mental Health' Problems
June 11, 2008 01:06:14Threw such a hissy fit inside London's posh Dorchester Hotel this weekend, Michael Madsen was booked by the authorities. The actor was then transferred to hospital after staff at the top hotel became concerned for his mental health following fits of screaming and shouting from his room.
Madsen, best known for his role as psychopath Mr. Blonde in "Reservoir Dogs," had been staying at the Dorchester hotel and checked in on Saturday, June 7 with a woman believed to be his wife and his five-year old daughter. Police were called after a guest complained to have heard screaming coming from the actor's room.

February 16, 2008 01:02:52Talking about his new character in the drama film "Strength and Honour", the star of "The Reservoir Dogs" Michael Madsen revealed that he was forced to beg for the role because he didn't want to be knocked out by Hollywood actors, Orlando Bloom and Christian Bale.
According to press release, the 49-year-old actor originally joined the cast as the knocked out bare-knuckle fighter at the end of the film. However, when he knew that the people behind the film considering Bloom and Bale to be the lead, he refused the role and asked for the center character.

Eagerly spilling more information about his helming debut project, "The I Scream Man", director J.T. Mollner has revealed to ShockTillYouDrop.com that both Michael Madsen and Dee Wallace have just signed on to join the cast of the horror feature.
Madsen, best known for his performance in "Reservoir Dogs", is said to fill in the role of Ronny Gop originally set to be played by Tom Sizemore, who was dropped out of the flick due to his arrest for drugs possession earlier this month. Meanwhile, Wallace will be billed to be the mother of Haylie Duff's character Lynda Stichin.

Constructing a high-profile cast lineup, a group of Hollywood's great talents consisting of Michael Madsen, John Malkovich, Damian Lewis, Stephen Dillane, Daryl Hannah, Peter O'Toole, Saffron Burrows, and Virginie Ledoyen, are all onboard to bring highlight to "Love and Virtue", a period epic project revolving around the battles that raged within King Charlemagne's empire.
Both Madsen and Malkovich will portray barbarian marauders while Lewis is set to be a knight serving the king, played by Dillane, who falls for Ledoyen's character. Also accompanying them in the list are Leonor Varela, Vincent Perez, Cristian de la Fuente, Anna Massey, Alexa Rey, and Boo Boo Stewart.

Mason Pictures is moving rather quick this time. In its effort to bring up its new project of "Strength and Honor" to the surface, the studio has successfully signed not only one but three stars in the film's cast namely Michael Madsen, Richard Chamberlain, and Vinnie Jones, so Production Weekly has reported.
As the movie's story tells about a boxer named Sean Kelleher who has to break his oath of never boxing again to raise money to save his sick son, Madsen is plotted to play the athlete with Chamberlain as his boxing coach. Meanwhile, Jones has been billed to portray the role of Kelleher's arch rival, Smasher O'Driscoll.

There are four more actors joining the cast of indie cop thriller "Vice". They are Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, Mykelti Williamson and Mark Boone Junior.
"Vice", which is written and directed by Raul Sanchez Inglis, revolves around a group of conflicted police officers who become suspects when drugs go missing.
