"It's just totally false...Rob and I are good friends," so says the "Twilight" leading actress concerning the mounting and persistent rumors of her dating the British actor.
"Rob and I are good friends," Kristen insists, adding that "We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him." She goes on to dish, "and it's like, I know the guy really f***ing well. It's only natural that we sort of lean on each other, because we're put in the most f***ing psychotic situations."
'Spider-Man' Series to Continue Without Tobey Maguire
May 28, 2008 12:05:24With all the buzz surrounding the next installment of the "Spider-Man" movies, it seems that "Spider-Man 4" and "Spider-Man 5" are ready to go on full steam ahead giving fans high hopes. However, before fans could cheer up over the reports, a downer came rushing in. The latest report surfacing on the virtual world suggested that the superhero dressed in red and blue skin tight costume may be getting a new fresher and younger face.
Breaking out the story firstly was Latino Review which noted that producer Laura Ziskin and Grant Curtis have suggested that Tobey Maguire, the depicter of Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man in the previous three installments of "Spider-Man" series is more likely to be replaced. As for the list of the possible candidates, the site put out two names, "Almost Famous" star, Patrick Fugit, and the co-star of Jackie Chan in "The Forbidden Kingdom", Michael Angarano. Still, it is stressed that the offering of the role has yet to be done.
Justice League Testing Young Actors for Potential Cast
October 15, 2007 03:10:24A number of young names appear to be considered for the superhero roles in Warner Bros. Pictures' fast-tracking project "Justice League of America." The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that director George Miller is seeing 35-40 acting talents for starring slots in the movie from October 14-15, 2007.
Among the pack are rising stars such as Adam Brody of "The O.C." fame, "Final Destination 3" female lead Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Teresa Palmer who recently appeared in "December Boys." Names like rapper Common, Joseph Cross, D.J. Cotrona, Michael Angarano, and Max Thieriot are also reported to test for the flick's roles.

Willing to exhibit more action to moviegoers next, Michael Angarano is involved in final negotiations to take starring part in "Jackie Chan/Jet Li Project", also known as "J&J Project", The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
If everything runs smooth, the "Sky High" star will likely be billed as a troubled seventeen-year-old wannabe kung fu warrior who is sent back in time to ancient China on an impossible mission. Jackie Chan has already been plotted to play a monk while Jet Li the Monkey King, who becomes the main target in the mission.
