Miley Cyrus to Tour With Metro Station This Fall
June 04, 2009 11:06:53Miley Cyrus is set to take band Metro Station, in which her half-brother Trace Cyrus serves as a guitarist/vocalist, on the road as her opening act for her forthcoming tour this fall. She confirms it on her Twitter, "I'm going on tour!!! but not any tour, with METROSTATION!!!!"
In regard of the upcoming gigs, Miley tweets, "I can't wait to see y'all there! go to mileycyrus.com or ticketmaster.com!!! yayy :) we are selling tickets the REAL way!!!" The same excitement is also shared by Metro Station who reach out to their MySpace, stating, "We're excited about this tour and can't wait to see you guys all over the US this fall/winter."
Video Premiere: Metro Station's 'Wish We Were Older'
April 10, 2009 10:04:49A music video in companion of Metro Station's single called "Wish We Were Older" off debut album "Metro Station" has been premiered. It follows a girl on her way to attend one of the band's live gigs. Then the scene switches to the band invading the stage with their out loud performance. Amidst the band's performance, the girl is spotted among the audience.
Metro Station's self-titled effort has arrived since September 2007. Led by catchy tune "Kelsey", it peaked at number one on Billboard Top Electronic Albums chart and climbed to number 39 on Billboard Hot 200.

January 12, 2009 12:01:04Meeting for the first time on "Hannah Montana" set, Mason Musso and Trace Cyrus decided to form band Metro Station. With two other members Blake Healy and Anthony Improgo, they dropped their self-titled debut album on September 18, 2007 under Columbia/Ink Red Records with all the band's members contributing on songwriting desk.
"Shake It", the third single from their debut effort, has been a huge success. It reached number 10 on Billboard Hot 100, becoming their first single to enter the U.S. singles chart. Certified gold by RIAA in June 2008 for selling more than 500,000 copies, it was also featured as one of "The House Bunny" soundtracks.
Video Premiere: Metro Station's 'Seventeen Forever'
December 06, 2008 09:12:36A music video promoting Metro Station's song "Seventeen Forever" has been debuted. Shot in carnival-themed scenes, the video features crowd of an entertainment spot complete with its fun house, ferris wheel, fire barrels, and stunt motorcyclists.
In the Metro Station's music video, Miley Cyrus, half-sister of the band's guitarist and vocalist Trace Cyrus, is captured making a cameo appearance among teenage boys and kids playing around the carnival. She is seen playing bumper car and laughing through the set.
Sneak Peek of Metro Station's 'Seventeen Forever' Music Video
November 19, 2008 04:11:59A music video for Metro Station's new song "Seventeen Forever" has been available for peeking. The 45-second snippet previews the band performing their song in the middle of crowd with huge ferris wheel on the background.
In addition to provide a sneak peek into the music video, the snippet also reveals the premiere date for the music video. In a short announcement, the video, which will feature a cameo appearance from Miley Cyrus, will be premiered on FNMTV on December 5 at 8 P.M.
Miley Cyrus to Appear on Metro Station's Music Video
September 26, 2008 01:09:43Disney's star Miley Cyrus will make a cameo appearance along side Justin Gaston on the music video of Metro Station, where her half-brother, Trace Cyrus, plays as a guitarist and vocalists. Furthermore, the music video is aimed at supporting the band's latest single titled "Seventeen Forever" from their self-titled debut album, which has been released since September 2007.
Not only Miley and Justin, who will co-star in the music video, Miley's father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and mother, Leticia Finley, will also join their daughter in one of the music video scenes. "I didn't know if I'd ever get to have [my dad] in [a music video] of mine," Trace says.
