October 08, 2008 03:10:52"Astro Boy" now has an additional voice. On Tuesday, October 7, Erin Corbett, the President of Imagi Studios U.S., stated that the upcoming CGI animated feature film will include Matt Lucas in the voice cast ensemble.
Other voice cast that crowd this movie include Nicolas Cage, Donald Sutherland, Kristen Bell, Nathan Lane, Bill Nighy and Eugene Levy. In addition, Freddie Highmore will take the voice for the title role.
'Little Britain' Heading to Big Screen
September 29, 2008 01:09:39Becoming a hit in its native country, and transcending itself to U.S. audience, sketch comedy series "Little Britain" is heading to the big screen. The feature film, which is backed up by producer Simon Fuller, will present the characters played by David Walliams and Matt Lucas.
A single story line will include many of the actors' notable characters such as teenager with horrible attitude Vicky Pollard, computer-obsessed Carol Beer and cross dresser in denial Emily Howard. "This was on the back burner while David and Matt concentrated on their American TV show, Little Britain USA. But they are both keen to get the project up and running," a source told Daily Mirror.
Seven Clips Introducing 'Little Britain USA' Characters
September 20, 2008 01:09:19Weighing on the success of "Little Britain" in U.K., comedians Matt Lucas and David Walliams develop the sketch comedy for its US version and name it "Little Britain USA". The first season will kick off Sunday, September 28 on HBO at 10:30 P.M. and seven clips have been released to give introduction to the characters.
With the tag "Bringing Class, Culture and Dignity to USA", the States version will also see Lucas and Walliams portraying various different characters in new sketches along with new characters. American celebrities slated to make guest appearances are Vivica A. Fox, Paul Rudd, Sting, Rosie O'Donnell, and Sarah Chalke among others.
