Full Winners of 2009 BET Awards, Beyonce Knowles Gets the Most Kudos
June 29, 2009 01:06:182009 BET Awards has been wrapped, and it is revealed that Beyonce Knowles led its winners list with two nods. She received her first award in Best Female R&B Artist category, beating Keyshia Cole, Keri Hilson, Jennifer Hudson and Jazmine Sullivan.
Then, Beyonce added another trophy with Video of the Year prize, thanks to her "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" music video. During her acceptance speech when collecting this award, she thanked Michael Jackson.

February 13, 2009 11:02:55Winners of this year's NAACP Image Awards in music category have been announced during a live ceremony at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on February 12. Jennifer Hudson was the one who won big at the annual event, collecting three trophies.
Jennifer claimed her first victory as Outstanding New Artist, beating down Anthony Davis, Jazmine Sullivan, Leona Lewis and Estelle. "This is where we come from," she said when taking the stage to pick up the trophy. "So it's always an honor to come home and feel welcome and to feel the love. I really cherish this and appreciate it."

January 08, 2009 09:01:15Nominees of 2009 NAACP Image Awards for its recording category have been announced on January 7 in Los Angeles. From the announcement, it is revealed that Jennifer Hudson leads the pack with six nods and Beyonce Knowles follows with five counts.
Topping the music list, Jennifer competes with Anthony David, Estelle, Jazmine Sullivan and Leona Lewis in "Outstanding New Artist". She meanwhile lands her self-titled debut album in a stiff competition with Beyonce's "I Am...Sasha Fierce", Kanye West's "808's & Heartbreak", Ne-Yo's "Year of the Gentleman" and Seal's "Soul" in "Outstanding Album".
