Justice League Testing Young Actors for Potential Cast
October 15, 2007 03:10:24A number of young names appear to be considered for the superhero roles in Warner Bros. Pictures' fast-tracking project "Justice League of America." The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that director George Miller is seeing 35-40 acting talents for starring slots in the movie from October 14-15, 2007.
Among the pack are rising stars such as Adam Brody of "The O.C." fame, "Final Destination 3" female lead Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Teresa Palmer who recently appeared in "December Boys." Names like rapper Common, Joseph Cross, D.J. Cotrona, Michael Angarano, and Max Thieriot are also reported to test for the flick's roles.
Timothy Olyphant and Mary Elizabeth Winstead Struggle to "Live Free"

Completing its cast, "Live Free or Die Hard" has smoothly added two more stars namely Timothy Olyphant and Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the lineup, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
Olyphant, who this time stands on antagonist side, will portray the nemesis of lead character John McClane, played by Bruce Willis while Winstead is billed as McClane's daughter. Justin Long, Jeffrey Wright, and Maggie Q are also starring.
Stars Celebrating Black Christmas
January 17, 2006 01:01:20While the Christmas season has ended, Michelle Trachtenberg is joining the likes of Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Katie Cassidy and Oliver Hudson, to celebrate the "Black Christmas." Trachtenberg is said to topline the horror remake, which is worked on by filmmaking team James Wong and Glen Morgan.
Of horror thriller genre, "Black Christmas" is about a killer who terrorizes a sorority house with phone calls before he begins to murder various sorority sisters during the holiday break. Shooting will start at the end of this month in Vancouver with a release date slated for Christmas 2006. Wong and Morgan are producing, with Morgan writing and directing.
The Final Destination Is Close Already
October 29, 2005 10:10:01It's been six years after the original "Final Destination" film that the "Final Destination 3" is close already. The drama horror thriller movie will soon on board and people can enjoy it on the theaters.
The James Wong direction stars the likes of Ryan Merriman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kris Lemche and Alex Johnson. The story centers around a high school senior who has a premonition of a fatal roller coaster accident involving herself and all her friends. When the premonition proves true, those who have "cheated death" and survived the accident are forced to deal with the repercussions of escaping their fate.
