Jennifer Lopez Brings Famous Musicians to Perform at L.A. Hospital Gala
May 15, 2008 02:05:13Having twin babies of her own, Jennifer Lopez is touched by the needy children who are being treated annually by Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and thus has revealed her intention to offer some help. The actress-singer announced Wednesday, May 14 that she's going to host and help coordinate the third Noche de Ninos benefit gala, which is set to take place October 11 later this year at the Nokia Center.
Thanks to her twins Max and Emme, from whom Lopez gets the inspiration to get more involved in the cause. "Doing something where I was proactive ... where I was the one pushing and making something happen, that just became very important to me," the Associated Press quoted her as saying. "I don't know if it was because I was pregnant and thinking about children, thinking about the world. Definitely my children inspire me very much in so many ways, even just in the past two and a half months of their little lives."
