Artist of the Week: Madina Lake
May 04, 2009 01:05:21Madina Lake will come out with a new studio album "Attics to Eden" Tuesday, May 5. In putting final touch for the record, the band worked with acclaimed producer David Bendeth, who had produced The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Paramore's albums.
Recalling the days when they were in studio with David, bass guitarist Matthew Leone noted the producer is "a drill sergeant." He wrote on their official website, "We just thought we'd come in, and record them. But when we played them for him that first time, he just ripped us apart. He completely deconstructed us, and it hurt bad. But the pain was well worth it."
