Liz Phair Almost Finished With New LP
July 28, 2008 01:07:24Rock chick Liz Phair is set to mark her comeback to the music scene with a new album as the follow up to Somebody's Miracle", that was dropped in 2005. Although she hasn't set a title and an official release date yet, the singer said that her upcoming record is almost done and it is set to due this fall.
Speaking about the process for the upcoming LP's work, to Billboard.com Liz stated, "All my sloppiness is in there. I fought all the way through, and I'm not letting anyone take it to a perfected style." She also added, "It has mistakes in it. It has layered background vocals of mine that just make an overall slop, but it's perfect slop."
Phair Unveiled New Tracks
August 03, 2005 10:08:34Performing at Joe's Pub in New York on Monday, Liz Phair revealed three tracks from her upcoming album, "Somebody's Miracle." Backed up by guitarist Dino Meneghin, Phair sang "Table for One", "Everything to Me", and "Closer to You."
As for the album, it is about to come out on October 4. Following this, Phair will hold her tour around North America. Full band, of course.
