Building a promising ensemble cast, Shannyn Sossamon, Lara Flynn Boyle, Vondie Curtis-Hall, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Mark Webber, and Tony Plana have all come onboard to join Victor Rasuk and Kerry Washington in urban drug-addiction drama "Life Is Hot in Cracktown", The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
Based on Buddy Giovinazzo's eponymous 1993 collection of short stories, the project intertwines several unsettling tales of people in a neighborhood ravaged by crack cocaine. The author himself has been confirmed to both write and direct with Larry Rattner and William Fisch producing for Ithaka Entertainment.

A publicist for Boyle, Karynne Tencer, confirmed the news to People, saying "She's ecstatic. She's very, very happy."

February 01, 2005 09:02:09The beautiful Men in Black II actress, Lara Flynn Boyle, has been accused of stripping nude and trying to seduce one male passenger during British Airways ten-hour first class flight from Los Angeles to the capital's Heathrow Airport.
Passengers in the cabin explained that Boyle began to act strangely before she stripped off her clothes and tried to climb into the bed of a sleeping stranger while any other passengers looked at her in stunned silence. While a British Airways spokeswoman confirms the incident, Boyle's publicist Sarah Culliver insisted that the suit was completely inconsistent with Boyle character and behavior.
